Beechwood Harbor Ghost Mystery #1-7

Beechwood Harbor Ghost Mysteries: Boxed Set 1-7

Rate this book
**Over 1,000 pages of paranormal cozy adventure with a ghost whisperer, snarky ghost cat, and a town full of spooky secrets!** Scarlet Sanderson sees dead people. Lots and lots of them.

Overwhelmed by the endless demands of restless spirits in the big city, she picks a spot on a map and sets out to start a new life in Beechwood Harbor. Surely a tiny beach town will be the perfect place to open a flower shop and put down roots—in peace.

Or not.

For all its quaint charm, the coastal community is teeming with spirits, and secrets are as common as the seashells on its shores. Word of Scarlet’s unique ability spreads quickly among both the living and the dead, drawing her into a whirlwind of ghostly pleas and desperate requests.

Accompanied by her ghost cat and an entourage of spectral beings, Scarlet dives into solving cold cases and soothing troubled spirits. Her flower shop becomes more than just a business; serving as a haven for the haunted, even hosting weekly ghost support group meetings. Amid it all, Scarlet walks the thin line between the living and the dead.

After all, for a ghost whisperer, home is where the haunt is.

**The Beechwood Harbor Ghost Mysteries series is perfect for fans of Ghost Whisperer and CBS’s Ghosts. These quirky mysteries feature fun characters, a whimsical setting, and tons of cozy vibes! This boxed set includes seven full-length mysteries and a bonus prequel novella, What a Ghost Wants.**

The Ghost Hunter Next Door, Beechwood Harbor Ghost Mystery Series, Book 1:
A new series and good start - Heading ghosts is something many people want until they get it. Here we hear first hand what it’s like to constantly be interrupted by ghosts. I have friends who do mediumship for people. They talk about, ‘Turning it off’ and enforcing the rule. Now we have a story which mirrors what they say and it can’t be easy. The main character has to deal with it and gives a first hand view of it. Plus we get a crossover from other stories by this author. Let’s see what happens in the next book.

Ghosts Gone Wild, Beechwood Harbor Ghost Mystery Series, Book 2:
What to do when ghosts change - Dealing with ghosts must be easy when they do the same every day, but what happens when they change their habits. Oh, we have to add a bridezilla and a crazed dead cougar wanting money. It's quite the story. It was fun to listen to while working and cleaning. Oh, the crossovers continue which are fun!

When Good Ghosts Get The Blues, Beechwood Harbor Ghost Mystery Series, Book 3:
Ghosts with blues - What happens when your lover asks you to go on vacation without all your ghosts following you? Then you find yourself with a murder and nowhere to turn. Oh, then you find out you have more abilities than you knew. Can we say growing plants! The crossover is nice again from the Beechwood Manor series though it moves into the past of that series and we’ll see what happens as it continues. Just make sure you have your lemon with you.

Big Ghosts Don’t Cry: Beechwood Harbor Ghost Mystery Series, Book 4:
Learning to be a Ghost shepherd - In the last book we learned Scarlet has a new ability of helping souls crossover. Here she learns how to use it. It's a good story as we see Scarlet go through her lessons while helping so many people.

Diamonds Are A Ghosts Best Friend: Beechwood Harbor Ghost Mystery Series, Book 5:
Bridezilla in waiting - Planning a wedding is difficult enough, but when you find a ghost bridezilla it gets a lot worse. Plus a ghost busting flower pots and a cat with tuna. Solving the murder is the only way to get the bridezilla to go and get the wedding moving forward. There is a lot more and lots of crossover from the The Beechwood Harbor Magic Mysteries series. It was great to read it.

Ghosts Just Wanna Have Fun: Beechwood Harbor Ghost Mystery Series, Book 6:
Honeymoon and ghosts - We follow the happy couple as they try to enjoy their peaceful honeymoon until a murder happens right next door. It brings up the question: what happens when ghosts show up afterwards? Roll with it as it’s all you can do. Add in paparazzi and a half dozen women trying to get TV/movies deals making it very interesting.

Bad Ghosts Club: Beechwood Harbor Ghost Mystery Series, Book 7:
End of the series - We have reached the end of the published books in this series and will there be more books? We follow the newly weds/ghost whispers as they try not to help more ghosts. This time we get more crossover from the Seattle Haven and big bird. It’s nice to see more crossover from the author's other books. I would love to see all the main characters come together for a new series!

I devoured this boxed set like a ghost hunter at an all-you-can-haunt buffet. Beechwood Harbor Ghost Mysteries (Books 1–7) is the paranormal cozy series I didn’t know I needed—until I blinked and realized I’d read almost the entire set in one caffeine-fueled blur.
Scarlett is the kind of heroine who doesn’t just stumble into trouble—she practically cartwheels into it, dragging her ghostly sidekicks and snarky commentary along for the ride. The mysteries are clever, the banter is sharp, and the supernatural shenanigans are delightfully absurd in the best way possible.
Each book builds on the last without losing its quirky charm, and the cast of recurring characters feels like a dysfunctional ghost-hunting family I never asked for but now refuse to live without. I’ve already started the rest of the series, because apparently sleep is optional when you’re this invested.
If you like your mysteries with a side of sass, a sprinkle of spectral drama, and zero patience for boring plots, this boxed set is your next obsession.

Back in Beechwood

We met Scarlet through Holly and her Beechwood integration and all the challenges that ensued when Scar helped her out once. Now Scarlet is the main character and we get to see her own set of challenges. Being dead is not always the end and Scarlet is the lucky one who gets to interact with those ghosts. When new ghosts need help, or older ghosts have unresolved issues, like being murdered, someone needs to help them find the light. She may not always want to be the one to help them along, but her three ghost sidekicks may not give her a choice. In the midst of this, opening her own shop, meeting the love of her life, and finding a permanent place to call home means there is a whole lot she has on her plate. Lucky for her, she's got friends.

It was good to see that side of things. We also get a little of Holly and the gang.

Ghosts that are funny, snarky, and sometimes scary

Great series! The box set comes with the prequel of how Scarlet, the ghost whisper, and her companion ghosts comes to Beechwood Harbor. Flapjack, the ghost cat, always has a comment about everything that happens. Hayward, the proper English gentleman ghost, meets Gwen the hippie ghost for the first time. Each book has more ghosts with a mystery to solve. It also includes Scarlets evolving romance. Can't wait for next book due out by March 2024.

I will definitely be reading more books from this author.

A delightfully cozy series about a flower shop owner who can see ghosts, and the mysteries she gets to solve in the small coastal town of Beechwood Harbor. There are several crossovers with the other Beechwood Harbor Magic Mysteries characters, and Scarlet's stories are not always located in the town. We travel to New Orleans, Hawaii, and Seattle at different times. The characters are relatable and loveable, the familiars are necessarily snarky, and the mysteries are interesting. A great box set of the first 7 books.

Getting to know more about Scarlett and her ghostly friends in the familiar setting of Beechwood Harbour. If you've read the other Beechwood Harbour witchy stories you'll be pleased that the much-loved characters blend into the ghost mysteries. The narrator Amanda Ronconi is why I listened to all these books as she brings them to life as she does in any book she reads. I love these lighthearted books, they're pure escapism.

Wonderfully spooky

Lots of great characters which are wonderfully detailed. The story is full of unwanted adventures for the main character and her ghostly sidekicks, one of them a very rude and mischievous cat, a fun loving young woman and a old school british gentleman, all ghosts. Add in a boyfriend/ husband who can't see or hear ghosts and you have a incredibly entertaining series which is hard to put down. A perfect read for young and old alike.

Ghosts, Romance and all sorts in-between.

Scarlet is not only a witch, but she can see and interact with them.
Excellent stories of Scarlet, her ghost cat Flapjack and ghostly Hayward Kensington III!
There adventures include the beautiful ghostly Gwen who not only manages to learn all sorts of interesting gossip, but she attracts Hayward in a ghostly romance.
Great series full of ups and downs - highly recommend.

Ghosts and mysteries

Such a fun series. Flapjack reminds me of Salem. Scarlet is sweet. She can see ghosts, including that of her deceased childhood cat. She spends the series helping ghosts work through their deaths and filling flower orders in her little town of Beechwood Harbor. And the new prequel story is the perfect introduction.

Wonderful series

Following Scarlet through her travails in Beechwood Harbor is always a treat. And this box set is perfect to own, giving me a chance to reread old favorites and anticipate her continuing adventures. A perfect combination of snark, mystery, and PNW coastal ambience.

Ghosts everywhere

With rich parents it would be easy to live a life of luxury but being able to globe trot and wanting to are two different things. With an inheritance from her grandma she decides to settle down with a flower shop in a small coastal town, just her and her ghost friends. Now the fun begins. Good Read.

The ghost side of town

This is a companion series for Danielle Garrett's Beechwood Harbor Magic Mysteries, only with more ghosts than magic. The 7 books in this set stretch over more than 1300 pages, so it takes a while to read, but the stories are interesting and well-written, so they're worth the time. Highly recommended.

Extraordinary

Clever story lines, paranormal events, and a mouthy cat. What more can a reader desire? Plus, characters that I fell in love with and a whole set to read through. Sorry to reach the end of this set of books but have found another collection by this author to begin soon.

Interesting

I like Scarlet, Hayward, Gwen, and especially Flapjack. Lucas is so understanding and easy going, but strong and exactly what Scarlet needed. The only reason I held off on a five star review is because it started heading to a place that would make me quit the series. Please don’t go there. Book 7 went to the edge and was teetering

This was fun!

I can't remember why for each book; it did take me a while to read through all seven and real life is throwing curveballs right now, but I felt an almost personal connection with several of the stories. I suspect it's at least partly DG's skill as a writer. Also Flapjack is hilarious, not that he wants to be.

Excellent series with fantastic characters . Was glad I got books 1-7 so I could follow the character development, even though each book had its own individual mystery. There is laughter, suspense, romance and intriguing story line.

Light and entertaining perfect vacation reading. Because fourteen more words are required and I have nothing more to add, this is a small protest to fill the requirements.
