Action movie star Cade Wallace knows better than anyone that being a public figure means that all eyes are on you, magnifying every success--and every failure.
After a string of box office duds, he signs on as a client to Whitmore and Creighton, a PR firm, determined to make a comeback. He can't get the feisty redhead that he met at a premiere out of his head. Their chemistry is electric, but it will take more than money and fame to win her heart. He'll have to face his demons, and a past he's trying hard to forget...

Megan Scott can't seem to avoid douchebags. As a teacher in an underfunded inner city school, she deals with coworkers that make no secret of the fact they're only there for a paycheck. In her love life, she keeps picking men intent on finding new ways to break her heart.
When she meets Cade Wallace, she knows he'd be more of the same. Devastatingly handsome? Check. An inflated ego? Double check. But their attraction is undeniable. Can she trust him with her heart, or will he be another mistake?

I received a ARC Copy for my honest review. At first I was lost and it took me a little to adjust. To me I feel Megan's and Cade's relationship was rushed and I couldn't get into this book. That's why it took me days to finish it, I have read other books by Ava Claire and loved them this not so much.

I was given an ARC from Ava's assistant, Danielle in exchange for my honest review.

It took me longer to read then I had anticipated only because I haven't been feeling well. I did do a few status updates with my joy throughout this story. It is a pretty quick read once you sit down and gulp it up...

I very much enjoy, Ava's writing. I fell in love with Jacob and Leila forever ago and was thrilled when I got to read about Meg and hottie, Cade!!!

One thing I noticed when I was updating my statuses were how many people didn't love it and reviews were 3's. Although, I don't read reviews while I'm reading you can't help but notice when your friends are right there and you see 3s. It made me wonder what book they read as apposed to the one I just read.

There were a few things that did seem a bit unrealistic but it made it all the more "swoon" worthy if that makes sense. I absolutely enjoyed myself while reading this book. I laughed out loud a lot of times, I cursed at that Missy (AGAIN) and cried my little heart out... I would very much like to read about Missy and find out what her frigging problem is...

Of course, Lisa, man, she's a trooper, I absolutely love her and her punk hairdos... Would totally love to see her find someone to sweep her off her feet.

I'm thrilled with this book. I even enjoyed laughing at fan boy, Patterson... ha ha

Great Job again, Ava! I look forward to reading more of your work in the future! 5 STARS *****

***** This is an ARC Review****

I received this copy of Before You Go for my honest review..

This is the journey of Megan and Cade and what a journey it was for both of them.

Megan the bouncy school teacher that has had a hard life with love in the past. With an ex-boyfriend (Mark) that she walked away from when she found him going down on her TA on her desk at school. But, Mark could not seem to get the clue when Megan said leave me a lone it didn't seem to phase Mark. He just kept coming back for more. I was so over Mark after I read the words "cheat"

Cade the actor that thought he was "gods gift to woman" till he saw Megan. Cade fell hard for Megan even before he knew whom she really was. He had his PA Lisa find out all about Megan. But, Cade had demons from his own past. Former Military man that was married and thought it was ok to cheat on his wife that was waiting for him to return home. When he returned home to his awaiting wife she had already knew that Cade was cheating. Instead of confronting Cade and telling him how she felt she just couldn't take it anymore and took her own life.(sad I know)

Lets fast forward to why you should pick up Before You Go..
Cade and Megans first kiss was electrifying the kiss that dreams are made of. Lets throw in some reality and you have a modifying hot book. I kind of hoped that the love scenes would have been a little more in depth than they were but the story behind the bedroom made this book Awesome in this readers opinion. You get to read what Megan and Cade each felt and why.

Cade was the definite ALPHA male for sure. Take HOT and Hotter in the mix and you got one steamy romance with a background to boot..

Megan and Cade both made an appearance in Ava's "His Submissive Series". I am so glad that I got to read more about these two characters. I was so sad at the end of the book but in order to know why your gonna have to pick up this book. I am not gonna let you know if there is a happy ending or not cause that is not the way I write my review's but I will say that the ending is some what not expected but it definitely touches the heart strings in this readers opinion.

This author is AWESOME. She writes with heart and when she writes she just doesn't tell you a story she tells you about the characters and what they are thinking and feeling. Thats one of the most rarest of them all. Thanks Ava for writing a fantastic read and story. I hope to hear more of Cade and Megan in the future (maybe) lol

Now go and pick up this book cause it is an Awesome Read

I liked this book but I did not love it, the start of the book was strange, I didnt know what I was reading, was it Cade's real life or was it a part of his new movie Soldier's Creed? Then reading about him wanting Leila Montgomery so badly "Something that drew me to her like a moth to a flame" and in the next breath he is madly in love with her best friend Megan. Then later when he meets his new publicist Missy and right away he is flirting with her, thinking about taking her to bed, this right after he wants his assistant to find out everything about Megan so he can go after her. It felt like the author could not decide if she wanted Cade to be a good guy or a bad guy, it was strange. I did like the back and forth chapters of Cade and Megan's POV. Then we read again about another scene a soldier is in and once again I thought it was the movie then finally it was made clear that this was Cade's life years ago, this should have been made clear right from the start. Then Cade and Megan are together, once again I felt they fell in love way to quick, I don't even feel like I know anything about either of them really. Of course there has to be some trouble in there to try and break them up, misunderstandings occur, then a romantic gesture to ask for forgiveness and they are happy as can be.

I have always been a fan of Ava Claire. I loved this book. It had everything I love in a romance novel. But to get the story of Cade was wonderful. You could read it after His Submissive series to really get a grasp of the characters but I could also see that someone could read it as a standalone too. The part that really touch my heart was how infidelity can cause a women to become a broken soul and even time sometimes cannot take away that insecurity of not being enough. I could just go on about the book but I don't want to give too much away. In summary, Cade past and guilt prevents him from love because he feels he doesn't deserve it. The journey of really being able to let go of the past and allowing love to change who you think you are. Loved it so much that I'm going to start reading the His Submissive books again so I can finish with Before you Go. Awesome writing Ava.

If you have read The Submissive, then you will already have met Cade and Megan. Before You Go will still make perfect sense even if you haven't read the Submissive!!

Cade is a huge movie star with a huge ego and, apparently, a huge....well you get my drift ;-)

Megan is a teacher with a string of failed romances under her belt.

This is the story of how Cade sets out to woo Megan.

As expected from this author, this book is extremely well written, the vocabulary was pitched just right without being over flowery. The characters have grown since The Submissive, things that were touched upon in that book are written about in more detail in this book. Megan and Cade's vulnerable side comes out and this actually makes Cade, in particular, a much more likeable bloke.

I loved this book. I like it when an author writes such strong secondary characters that they are worthy of their own book.

Congratulations on a great book Ms Claire.

I was fortunate enough to receive an advanced readers copy by the author. Granted by the time I read it the book had just come out so I wasn't really ahead of the game but that was my doing. I didn't know what to expect out of this book with being introduced with new main characters. It took me a few chapters but then I couldn't help but feel for Cade and his way of thinking. His journey to pursue Megan at all cost but having a hard time shaking off his bad boy image everyone still see's him as. Ava Claire did a great job in bringing them together but pulling me in along the way and wanting things to work out. Of course no book would be complete without a villain and what a piece of work she is. I just wanted to strangle her and was silently cursing her through my kindle. I look forward to what Ava comes up with next.

I received this ARC from the aurthor for an honest review.
Cade is an Actor who believes he doesn't deserve love, so he sleeps around alot. Megan is a teacher that believes she sets herself up for failure so she winds up with losers that constantly cheat on her and break her heart. So its plenty of drama watching these two get it together.
He's attracted to her but wants more, he doesn't want to be that cheating guy anymore. She doesn't trust expecially not Cade who, in the previous series His Submissive, lusted for her bestfriend Leila.
So how can she think to trust him with her heart. So the whole plot is about getting these two together. Loved the story line, They fell in love really fast tho but other than that, it's a great read

Cade and Megan

What I liked about this story was Cade was mixed up, messed, up, but still "ok" and truly, that is the general population. Some messed up history, some mistakes, but still capable of loving. And Megan, been hurt, made some less than stellar choices but still able to trust and love.

Normal. Tough. Honest. Real. Good writing. The characters were already developed in another book but this is their story.

You would miss some of the significance of people's relationship with both of them but it isn't necessary to read any other earlier book to enjoy this one.
The editing was good, the balance good, and you feel good on the last page.

Now, can we get Lisa's story?

What a way to open a book! This book is a spin-off from his submissive and is a bit different, considering the non bdsm feel. However it didn't take away from the book. I loved seeing a book about the other important characters and seeing their story along the way. I was lucky enough to receive an arc for an honest review. I will definitely be reading more from this author as well.

Cade and Megan are total opposites. Cade is a movie star and Megan a teacher. They secretly are crushing on each other, because of their connection with Leila. When they stop fighting it, they connect on many levels. This is a spin off from the Billionaire Series with Leila and Jacob.. This is a great story and a must read!

I actually loved having this novel compared to Leila's story that was bunched into many different novella's. Ava Claire brought out both characters personalities and made me fall in love with them even more. I think this was her best yet. It definitely made my heart race.

For me this was a solid 4.5 stars

Okay so I was about a page or two into this book before I realized that this was Cade and Megan’s book from the His Submissive series. I am not only surprised but I was hoping they would get one.
We get to see a little of how Cade’s stint with the Army went, as well as how Megan’s relationship went with Mark and just why they broke up. You really start to see a different side of Cade then what we saw of him in His Submissive…which I’m thinking Megan is what brings out this other side we didn’t quite get to see before.

Oh Megan…she has been so badly burned that she shuts anything good out, and Cade has hurt someone so bad he thinks he doesn’t deserve happiness. How long until these two realize they are pretty perfect for one another?
Missy Diaz…I didn’t like her in Jacob and Lelia’s story and I hate her in this one as well…she is shady to me, and then she shows her true colors.

I legit had this book read in less than a day…I couldn’t put it down for long.
This was a pretty great HEA for Cade and Megan…as much as I wanted Cade to leave Lelia alone in the His Submissive series I still liked him in the end and saw even in the other series that Cade and Megan had amazing chemistry. It did at times feel like it was a rather quick relationship…they got to the “I love you’s” really fast but that didn’t detract from the story it was just something that I noticed while reading.
If you were a fan of Jacob and Lelia’s story and you like either Cade or Megan from that series then you should definitely read this story. If you haven’t read the His Submissive series then I personally recommend you read it before reading this novel…you don’t HAVE too but you won’t get the whole story behind Cade as well as Megan and Mark’s relationship if you don’t.

Actually rating 3.5.
Couple: Cade Wallace (Actor) and Megan (inner city school teacher)
* Warning previous characters from Ava's "His Submissive" series are mentioned, so if want to know what you missed or who those people actually are and why they matter read that series. It's actually good.

Ok first thing you should know is that there are some "flashback" type scenes so becareful when reading.
Cade is an Actor who believes he doesn't deserve love, so he sleeps around alot. Megan is a teacher that believes she sets herself up for failure so she winds up with A-holes that constantly cheat on her and break her heart. So its plenty of drama watching these two get it together. He's attracted to her but wants more, he doesn't want to be that cheating guy anymore. She doesn't trust expecially not Cade who, in the previous series mentioned, lusted for her bestfriend Leila. So how can she think to trust him with her heart.

So thats the basic plot...getting these two together. Now enter the drama: his reputation, his past, her trust issues, and Missy Diaz his jealous publisist. As if they didn't have enough trouble with each other.

I only had two issues with this book. One they fell in "love" way to quickly. Like really...they barely know each other but they love each other?? Whatever it's romantic fiction so can't be all that surprised. The second thing is that the story felt sorta rushed and not really finished. Felt like there could be more or hopefully a continuation.

However overall I did enjoy the story. Great writing, story structure, plot and overall concept was good. I loved his appolgy and her "I'm Sorry" was great. Noone is perfect but this couple seem to be good for each other. Everyone makes mistakes, its how we learn and move on that means something.

*I recieved this ebook from the author for my honest and un-biased review.

We are taken on Cade and Megan's story, for those of you do not know Megani s Leila's best friend and she is from another series of Ava Claire's "His Submissive Series." Cade is also in the last few books from His Submissive. He is an extremely hot actor that pursued Leila, but Leila was hopelessly in love with Jacob Whitmore. Cade was heart broken and everything changed when he laid eyes on Megan, he wanted her badly and he set out to have her. Little did Cade know but he was falling for the fiery red-head. Megan always had eyes for Cade but she didnot want to upset her best friend, but she could hardly fight her feelings for him. Those feelings intensified over time and especially when she seen Cade with her students. She learns about some of Cade's past demons and still loves him. But does the old saying " once a cheater, always a cheater" really mean on can never change? can Cade and Megan really have a chance at love, or Cade's past and his old ways come into play? I guess you will have to read to find out. But I can tell you Ava delivered yet another master-piece of work, it was humorous and I enjoyed it immensely. A must read for sure!

"Who else will make sure I don't corrupt young minds?"

"Well, that conversation is gonna destroy my street cred."

"I just want a fair chance at your heart,"

"You seem like a bucketful of fun... I'd hate for your kids to be saddled with a sub while you recuperate."

"I'll wait as long as you need me to because I've been waiting for you. Hoping, deep down, that I could find something real again."

"Then I'll chop off your balls and wear them as earrings,"

Lately I've been reading ebooks spanning a 380+ page that it just took me less than a few days (usually at night) to finish this one.

Okay, so here goes my review...

At the start (a few pages in) I got a bit confused. A bit of a jump from 2005 and then to the present a few years after. So I got lost for a while. I realized then that Cade was living a Hollywood-type lifestyle, but came from a war-worn past. I don't know much about the military life so, I'll just skip this part.

Cade's personality is the typical portrayal of an over-bearing, self-obsessed man... Basically Narcissistic in nature, with an attitude to boost. I never did like guys like that. especially since he tried to break up a good relationship (Leila and Jacob). I big no-no on my book.

Now with the introduction of Megan's character, Cade's entire demeanor changes and he begins to value women (well, one in particular) and became attuned to the feelings that he had inflicted. I'm not saying that he became a bowl of mush and stuff, but the effort he gave towards the last few pages of the book was something to feel giddy about.

I must say, the book is good, but it be better if the story plot was elaborated more. But I can say that Ms. Claire was able to deliver a short story with a lot of punch! Great job!. Keep it up!

I received an ARC for this book for my honest opinion….

I did not read the entire "His Submissive" series and this book contains characters from that series as well as mention of others. Needless to say, I was a bit confused in the beginning of the book. If you want to understand some of Cade’s issues you are going to have to read the "His Submissive" series. What also confused me was the time jumping. I usually don’t like to have to go back and forth, time wise, in my reading. Otherwise, it was a greatly written, attention grabbing, very quick read.

You have the main character Cade, whose career is sliding and he not only needs help with his career but also with establishing a good relationship. Then you meet the other main character Megan whose had some rough relationships in her past but seems like a very altruistic person (works as a teacher in an inner city school).

They meet, fall in love (was it too quick?) and have issues like any good modern day romance novel. Will he cheat? Will she trust him? Will jealously interfere? Will they get over their pasts? Will they get that all illusive HEA? You’re going to have to read it yourself to find out ;-)

I definitely recommend you read this and other books by Ava Claire.

I received this ARC from the author for a honest review. I've tried to sum up the story without giving spoilers.

We meet up with Cade, who if you read the His Submissive series, stormed into Leila's life and tried to break up her relationship.

Now that Cade is upset about Leila's refusal to deal with him as his publicist, he decides to pursue her best friend Megan.

Megan is a upbeat school teacher who teaches at a school for underprivileged students. She loves what she does, just doesn't love a certain co-worker.

Cade storms into her life via text message, then showing up in her classroom. The conversation is great between the two and they have such tension between the two of them.

Slowly Megan opens up and finally Cade opens up as well. Then...well life happens and someone tries to spilt the two apart. But, when love is real and strong, nothing can undo what is put together.

I love Cade and Megan and want to see more of them and more of Leila and Jacob too. The ending leaves you in a good place but leaves you wanting more as well.

I am a huge fan of Ava's and have read every single book from her "His Submissive Series" which is about Jacob and Leila! We meet both Megan and Cade in that series. So for those of you who have not read that series, you might get lost or confused in the beginning of this book. I highly recommend reading "His Submissive Series"! I LOVED this book and I am so happy that Meg & Cade got their own book. We find out quite a bit about their history especially that of Cade. Cade loves that Meg calls him out on his ish and can totally see the real and scarred man underneath the hollywood lights. But Cade can also see all the hurt Meg has endured from past relationships that closely resembled that of his own past. She makes him want to be better and he himself wants to change not only for her but most importantly for himself as well. Great chemistry and one that some might feel was rushed, but again it kinda started already in the previous series. Overall great read and I was not disappointed.

This is an ARC review****** Just finished reading "Before You Go" by the wonderful Ava Claire & I must say she has done it again, I love love love Megan the sassy mouth red head who speaks her mind, you go girl. She reminds me of so many strong women I know who choose the wrong men that turn out to be losers but never give up on finding real love.I was completely against Cade in the billionaire series but I did a complete turn around as she dove into the heart of the characters. As I got to know him & his inner struggle I grew to love him I foundmyself rooting for him. This was an awesome telling of love having bumps, stumbles, & turns in the road but true love still won in the end.Ava writes you into her world making you believe while bringing out the heart of her characters. A definite must read!!!

Cade is this larger than life movie star that doesn't believe he deserves love. Megan is a school teacher that seems to always pick the wrong guy … the one that always cheats and breaks her heart. When Cade meets Megan he sees something that he never thought he would find but especially feel again. There is a lot of great back and forth between Cade and Megan. I love that Megan is finally standing up for what she deserves which forces Cade to made some changes in his own life. I did feel like they both jumped into the love zone rather quickly but at the same time there was a connection that seemed genuine … it was like they needed each other to heal past hurts and move forward. Loved the interactions that happened at Megan's school. Really enjoyed their romance!

I was lucky enough to receive an eARC of Before You Go. After reading Ava's His Submissive Series, I was anxiously looking forward to reading Meg and Cade's story. Although their story was not as steamy as Leila and Jacob's it was just as great. There was actually a section in the story from Meg's point of view that gave me a better look at myself. In the His Submissive Series, I hated Missy. In Before You Go, a part of me felt sorry for Missy (but I may still hate her a little bit). I enjoyed Meg and Cade's journey. I'm looking forward to Mia's story (I hope one is still coming), I would absolutely love to see more of Jacob and Leila as well. I think it would be great to see how their lives progress with time (Jacob & Leila, Cade & Meg). Way to go Ava!!

Thankyou to Ava and her team for this copy of Before You Go!

I was so excited to finally read Cade Wallace's story that I started when I was really to tired to be reading anything, I got to the first mention of Leila Montgomery & I was like who? stop. think. SLEEP! then keep reading lol

moving on from my brain fart...

I loved Cade's story! the things he put poor Sophia through, and then her brave face until she couldn't do it anymore... no wonder he had trouble being the person he wanted to be & Megan needed him to be.

& Megan constantly doubting herself that Cade was different, after she'd been burnt too many times in the past. So gad she finally realised Cade really was different, and they were perfect for each other & together.

It wasn't one of Ava's best work. i had so much expectation with this book coming from the Billionaire series that I was disappointed in how it play out. at the beginning it was good getting background from the characters but not because of a few encounters they realize that they are in love without play with their story more. To me it was to abrupt from hating to love and happily after.
Cade's character was a meant allot in the Billionaire series to have presented the story like this because my expectations were really high. Now I don't usually write reviews like this allot, but I am and still will be a Ava Claire's fan.

I received this book as an ARC for a honest review. We first net them in His Submissive Collection. This is the story of Cade (Actor) & Megan (Elementary Teacher). The book pops off with Cade having sex in the pantry. I expected after this to follow the same pattern but it didn't. The story was about both characters growing and taking a chance on love. I wanted more romance and love scenes but because of their past I know they had to take it slow and learn to trust. The end was too cute getting to the HEA .

In this novella we meet again womanizer Cade and schoolteacher Meg, and of course the people that surround them including my favorite PA Lisa.
A very nice read about these two people, one feeling he doesn't deserve any happiness and the other feeling too afraid to be hurt again. Ava Claire makes it easy for the reader to feel along with them.

Whoever has met Cade Wallace or Megan Scott before should read these developments, I think.

I was offered an ARC of the book, this is my honest review.

ARC Review

This story picks up with the characters Cade and Megan from the Billionaire Contracts. It explains what Cade has gone through in the past to be the man he is and more into Megan life to make her the person she is.

The book is okay. I felt it was rushed. Too much going on to wrap up the ending "and they happily ever after". Not much steaminess at all. I understand the author trying new things. But she is known for the steam factor. I didn't feel it here.
