After suddenly being transported to another world in the body of a young girl, Sara gets taken in by a Hunter named Nelly. The two of them live a peaceful(?) life until the day Nelly vanishes, leaving Sara to fend for herself. Sara makes her way to the town of Rosa, where she meets her first friend and joins the Hunter’s Guild. Her search for Nelly continues all the while until, at long last, the pair is reunited!

They’ve now returned to their life on the Dark Mountain, occasionally coming into town. It is on one such visit that Sara encounters a fellow Invited, a boy named Haruto—and their meeting will change the lives of everyone around them.

Sara's happy days of her new life continue. She tries to avoid adventure, but she had expressed a wish to travel and Nell is not quick to forget. After all, making Sara happy and getting on an adventure is what make Nell happy. Alan and Chris do join as well. And so Sara's story continue, a nice light-hearted and straight forward isekai with some entertaining characters in their day-to-day life which involves some minor scuffles both political and physical, but nothing too seriously threatening. For me this is a nice palette cleanser, reading for the characters more than the action (let alone plot). A good read, exactly what I expected.

We didn't need another annoying kid, we are already dealing with a 27 year old woman in a child body who can't decide anything for herself.

After speaking with other Invited, they discover that each is put under the “care” of different powerful nobles, and there is a distinct feeling that they somewhat exploit them and use the modern concepts they reveal in sometimes less-than-desirable ways. Sara is much older than the usual world hopper, so she has no interest in being forced to be the ward of anyone, let alone the nobles that she distrusts. Naturally Liam, the scummy knight from book 1, is to be her guardian. No thanks!

Sara and Nelly end up leaving Dark Mountain to the other two Invited and traveling, with Allen and Chris tagging along. I don’t understand why Nelly can’t be appointed the direct guardian, but they are hoping to convince her family to be assigned to take care of Sara. You would think that if the Invited are so important and powerful, the country would be a little more careful to keep them happy and not go against their express wishes.
