This is a book I will go back to many times in the future. I would consider it a "must" for anyone interested in landscape architecture. It covers every aspect from selecting trees by size and shape, to planting and maintaining, pruning, pests and disease, even photographing and keeping records.
Though written for US growing, it does include Japanese trees and even gives pros and cons to use in selecting a tree and the place to plant it.
