By far, the best GRE text book I found for the new test prep. I wish I would have started reading this book a lot sooner in my GRE prep days. This book is comprehensive. It will teach you how to look at the test questions so you can break them down to understand what ETS is asking. One of the biggest challenges for me in these tests is to understand the questions and the answers provided even before I can evaluate if I know the answer. This book gave me an edge, it explained to me the rational behind questions' requests and it provided me with knowledge on how to decide which answer would be best suited for the question.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is about to take the test but with a caveat, schedule your time carefully, make sure you read the entire text, and do the practice tests. You will do fine!

3.5 Stars.

It probably deserves 4 stars as far as writing quality goes, but I only give 4 stars to things/subjects I enjoy or find stimulating. The book was useful, and outlined good sensible strategies on how to tackle certain questions - most of them you already know in shape or form or another, but it's always helpful to be reminded of them and have them at your fingertips.

Three stars for the creaking techniques which are way better than those of Barron's. But the difficulty level of the book overall is lower than real test.

Very helpful. Nice tips, especially for those who has very short time to prepare for the exam.

The Princeton review certainly makes money off of an exam process they hate. Good review. Great test taking tips.
