I just randomly started reading this book and found it nice. I would rate it somewhat close to 3.60.
The book started with a short story about Suzannes mother and and how she dealt with the situation. I really liked the concept that its not the talent or opportunities that separates average from excellence but Approach.
Every chapter has a short story and a hidden lesson which is then summarized at the bottom. Not only will this book's strategies benefit your business, but also your life.I have hardly come across any such book which gives you a step by step approach to success ane the best part is while reading you will often think.."Yeah, i am doing this wrong. Ok il try to change" and that's what will make a big difference in your life.

In person, Suzanne scares me a little with her in your face delivery - but she speaks the truth and one of the best takeaways from her book was to not miss the deadlines you set for yourself. That one nugget alone was worth the read - but she has many points that apply not just to being an entrepreneur but to being the type of person you want to be. Quick read, there are questions at the end of each chapter, which should not be skipped if you want the full value of this book.

I bought this book thinking I could use it to help my high school students understand the impact of their laziness -- maybe see the trends of doing nothing in one area of life, and how that behavior impacts other areas -- but I think I ought to first apply the principles in the book to myself! I'd read a lot of the same kind of material in other "how to run a business" books, and the same themes make it clear: Dreams don't come true unless you work them into being. The first step is getting clear on where you are and why things are going the way they ae in all areas of life (especially business) and then taking responsibility for managing your affairs so they know you mean business. I had not thought of my business having a persona, but that switched on something in my mind and I'm going to run with it. I recommend this book -- an easy read, chock full of questions to ask yourself, and challenges by the author to get moving on turning the answers into reality.

I needed to hear this. Some things I knew. Some things I didn't. Some things I forgot, I was reminded of. No matter where you are in your journey of business, I think you can benefit from the listen and by doing the homework. There was an earlier complaint that this book contains things other books have talked about in the past. Yes, that's true, be it in its own flavor or delivery. But if you truly intend to be better, some things you have to revisit to do a health check on yourself and your business even . You don't step into the same river twice.

I have always loved Suzanne's no nonsense style and she pulls no punches here. Even though I no longer dream of running a company (she showed me I didn't want to work that hard) the wisdom in this book still has a lot to apply in how I live my life. Thanks Suzanne!

One of the better self-help books I have read, hands down! Did not feel too preachy while getting the message across.

The title is so true...Suzanne & her team teaches you how to create a movement & grow your existing business. I joined her coaching class "100 days to 100 k" in 2015, participated in the "Be The Change Event 2015" and accompanied my wife Margarete Wabnig within the 10 K one year commitment 2015-2016. While a search for "movement marketing" I found her 11.2011 the first time on the internet. http://www.bernhardfraling.com/2012/0... Today I received my first check of Suzanne Evans Coaching. Thank you!

An enjoyable business book about one way to become more successful in your business. I can't decide if you really need to have this type of personality to do business in the way she does or if it's "one size fits all", but she sounds like she has a lot of fun!

Would definitely read again. Kick in the butt business book with TONS of golden nuggets. For me it was a "daily 30min read session" that turned in to 2 hours. Awesome stuff

Self-responsibility and will power as the driving forces of success. Luck has (almost) nothing to do with it.

She has spunk, sass, wit, and charm. And spares no "BS". Easy, pool-side read.
