I had this from kindle unlimited but it went off it. So I liked it enough to buy the book. I can't say I used its time line on how to organize but I found it useful on ideas on what to do. I plan to reread and look for more ideas to use in my everyday life.
The author needs to choose new titles for her books. She's trying to create brand familiarity with her "Organize Now!" titles, but instead it's creating confusion. I was originally looking for her book about organizing your space and possessions, and when I found "Organize Now!" and "Clutter-Free" and the author's name at the library, I assumed this was it. Whoops.
This is not a physical organizing and decluttering book. This is a spin-off about organizing your time, your mind, your health and safety, your spirituality, and (briefly) your stuff. Not what I was looking for, and not inspiring when I skimmed through it. The to-do lists in each week's chapter add up to some daunting time commitments. Every month you're advised to have one family day, one day just for you, four days of total downtime, one staycation, one craft/hobby day, one volunteer day, a day of rest each week, and a bunch of part-day activities. How does that all fit into every month?
ok, read through it, some of the information is incorrect regarding health recommendations. Some things are good advice, other just feels like filler or busy work.
This book was okay but I often forgot to read it every week and do the exercises for that week. I didn't finish it because I kept forgetting to read it and I didn't have the motivation to actually do the exercises outlined for each week. I may go back to it at some point to read again when I have the motivation to follow through with everything that is in it. Looking through the chapters, though, I think this could be a good book for people who have the drive to follow through with the ideas in order to organize their lives.
I tried to do all these books together and it didn't work. One year later, I was able to get to half of it. Really nice ideas and keeps you on track. I have thrown so much away and now live a simplistic life. Throw out the clutter!!!
