Brilliant, charming book exploring difference within the Indigenous and Non-Indigenous Australian context. Wonderfully done, with pop art style graphic illustrations carefully placed and designed to add to the story.

What stands out for me immediately is the beautiful design - the use of bold colours and shapes, the stylised images have a very mid-century poster / graphic design vibe to it. I think it gives the book a very striking, energetic mood which complements the rhythm of the text. The "same but different" theme celebrates diversity while inviting lots of conversations about how we can be different while also sharing similarities.

A stunning book to introduce young ones to difference. Also a delightful tale that normalises such differences. This book will be travelling with me next time I go overseas, a true Aussie treasure.
