This book is a series of lessons on various roots that students might encounter. I pulled a few of the lessons that use roots that I teach in my science classes to use with 7th graders. The words in each section include words that elementary and middle school students might encounter frequently, but also some very high level words that they probably won't. Scrivener, deportment, protoplasm, primogenitor... The number of words makes the lesson a bit cumbersome so I did cut it down to the words that I thought would be most helpful. The word play is fun and more advanced students will enjoy the whole lesson while lower students might get half.
