I took the free assessment that the book allows you to do online and I was very surprised at the results and how accurate they were. I enjoyed one chapter out of the book and it was where they explained the life grid color results. The rest of the book just seemed to be an attempt to sell the full reports. I probably would have appreciated more of the book if I purchased the full report but I'm not going to.

The free assessment included in this book was helpful but not very thorough. there is an option to purchase a more in depth report which I may want to do. The book itself was made up mostly of stories of how it helped certain businesses and people rather than helping to understand your own results which is what I thought it would include. It was still a decent and very fast read.

It is highly beneficial to have an understanding of yourself (personality etc.) in order to coexist with others in your work and personal life. This book breaks down the details of the assessment and case studies of others that have used The Birkman Method to enhance their lives.

You will learn more about yourself by taking a free online personality test. Only after I purchased the book did I find ththe methods to be both proprietary and unsupported outside of the book.

Very helpful if already familiar with Birkman

I read this book because I've already taken the Birkman and wanted to understand my results better. I believe I would have been lost if I didn't already understand the basic concepts contained within the assessment. Overall, Fink did a great job showing the power of this wonderful personality assessment tool.

This book was interesting and gave the free test gave me an insight to not only my own ways but also those of people around me.

That said, I did feel like the book read to much like an advertisement and was not as informative as promised. Possibly the next book will have a bit more on possible personalities.

As a Birkman trained consultant, this book gives a good overview of the different applications and impact the Birkman assessment tool can offer individuals, couples, groups small and large.
