I've not only succesfully passed Microsoft Certification but also have got wide knowledge of different aspects of front-end development. Highly recommended for experiencied front-end developers.

It explains a lot of outdated things like jQuery. However, JavaScript's content is good.

If you have already read more elusive books of HTML, CSS3 and JAVASCRIPT, then this is just a refresher of topics you already know. Nothing new, just fast paced way to know what microsoft can expect you to know, before giving this exam.
Though, every topic is perfectly covered with some mistakes, which one can eventually point out.
If you looking to give this exam, this is a great reference to start with.
!! (NOT RECOMMENDED FOR BEGINNERS, PRIOR BASIC PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE IS EXPECTED) !!

I read this book after taking a practice exam. The content lined up well with the types of questions that were on the exam. It is split up in sensible sections. It covers a lot of content without feeling overwhelming. The content also felt more relevant / up to date than the training guide. All in all, worth the time and money.

The book is not always accurate. Additionally, each chapter has questions and a subsequent answers but not all answers are there.
It does however provide a good overview on the exam

Good reference for the quiz. A couple of mistakes in Objective Review parts.
