Node.js is changing the way web apps are built. As Node.js apps are written in JavaScript, you can quickly and simply use your front-end skills to develop staggeringly fast, scalable real-time web applications. Read this book and, in a weekend, you’ll learn how PLUS discover how to use Twitter Bootstrap, MongoDB and Back-bone.js to create fancy web apps, extend their storage, and dy-namically update them.
Overall, decent intro/overview to Node.js (I think). Inconsistency in code formatting made it hard to track changes sometimes, but not really a huge deal. I could've used more discussion on why code was written as it was or why certain decisions were made, but still a great offering for the Node newbie.
