Good book to follow instructions on how to build the an app, but dont have explanations for beginners, you have to do your own home work.

Overall, decent intro/overview to Node.js (I think). Inconsistency in code formatting made it hard to track changes sometimes, but not really a huge deal. I could've used more discussion on why code was written as it was or why certain decisions were made, but still a great offering for the Node newbie.
