Tasha Volkov has been on the run for three years from a brutal cartel who want her dead.

her family.

She already paid a heavy price for crossing them, and has the scars to prove it. Her only choice is to keep running, even if the tiny town of Pine Valley feels more like home to her than anywhere else she's ever been.

The last place Zodiac Tactical agent Andrew Zimmerman expected to find the missing Volkov sister was with his friends at the Crossroads Mountain Retreat in the mountains of Tennessee—a place for wounded law enforcement and veterans to heal.

Tasha may not have been the one who gave the order that killed his wife—and very nearly killed him and his twin baby girls—but she can lead Andrew to the man who did.

And Andrew's willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen.

No matter how much Tasha's vulnerability pulls at him. No matter if everything about her screams innocent, not guilty. No matter how his gut says to keep her safe and close to him.

He thinks he knows all her secrets. But he doesn't.

Turns out, neither does she...

Oh wow. I kind of don’t even know what to say about this book. I was quickly swept up in it and I absolutely couldn’t put it down. I adore that we finally have the story of the last Zimmerman sibling. It was nothing like I was expecting and yet it was everything I hoped it would be. Andrew had so much emotional baggage he needed to process throughout this mission. And poor Tasha! Caught in the middle of an impossible situation, but still doing everything in her power to survive and even, maybe, thrive. The ending was perfect, and it appears that I now have a whole new series that I need to binge-read. I can’t wait to see what comes next.
I received a complimentary advance copy of this book from the author.

ARC review. Code Name: Gemini by Janie Crouch, Danielle M. Haas is another amazing read in the Zodiac Tactical series. I love the characters in this book community and was thrilled that Andrew finally got his HEA. The reappearance of many of my favorite characters was just a bonus. The storyline was full of unexpected twists and dangers around Andrew and Tasha’s budding romance. It was definitely a read it in one sitting book as I couldn’t put it down without making sure everyone was safe and happy. The only dinger was that Lauren’s Safe Haven by Danielle M. Haas didn’t come out simultaneously! My cloud of bliss could have lasted a few more hours!

By The Goddess, this book was an emotional powder keg of raw feelings, tension, intensity, suspense and heart. Tasha and Andrew truly put my heart through the wringer, and oh how badly it ached for each of them. The story itself sinks its claws in deep and refuses to let go. The danger and drama get you right on the edge of your seat and have you desperate to keep those pages turning.

What isn't to love when two of my favourite authors combine to write a story in two worlds that I love and what a story it was this flowed well kept me totally engaged and had me reading late into the night.

Andrew Hollister's life was ripped apart when his wife became collateral damage on a mission he was involved in for Zodiac tactical, the only reason he and his twin daughters survived was that an angel pulled them from the burning building they where in. Now three years later he no longer does active missions after all he has two little girls reliant on him and there is no way he will risk making them orphans. When that disastrous mission raises its head again linking to a wedding he is about to attend at The Sanctuary he doesn't hesitate Soon he is trying to connect with Tasha the sister of the man that ordered the hit that changed his life why does he feel a connection to Tasha and what secrets is she keeping. Soon it will take all the connections of both The Sanctuary and Zodiac Tactical to keep Tasha safe and finally bring the Volkov crime empire down

What is it with Zimmerman men that they need to do everything wrong before they can do it right?? All of the brothers have a strong sense of justice and Andrew's is that he'll do just about anything to bring the man who's responsible for his wife's death to justice. Even if it means using someone who he thinks is close to him. But Tasha proves to be more important than that and soon he's willing to do anything for her happiness even if it means he isn't in her life.

Tasha has been running for over 3 years now. She never lets anyone in but being around Andrew she lets herself slip just once, then she'll leave him in her rearview mirror. But life has decided it time to face her demons. All she can hope is that when she crosses the finish line, Andrew would be there to hold her hand.

The story was engaging, passionate and action paced that will leave you wanting it to never end.

We are back with another story in the Zodiac Tactical series. This time the story belongs to Andrew Zimmerman/GEMINI. A man that experienced great sorrow when his wife is killed. Since then, he’s been after Roman Volkov, whom he holds responsible not only for her death but for almost killing him and his twin girls as well.
Meanwhile, after all she’s endured because of her half brother. Tasha Volkov, has found peace in Pine Valley. When Andrew discovers where she is, he’s determined to get to Roman through her. Little did he know, that she too has been a victim.
In the midst of the danger, secrets and suspense, feelings develop. Can they both find resolution to the things they have endured and find a future filled with hope and love, or will the past always be in the way?
This was another engaging story in the series. I enjoyed “visiting “ with the characters of previous stories.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Unexpected twists and turns just keep coming…

Tasha Volkov is on the run. The Volkov cartel is always a step behind. Her betrayal has cost her so much already. But maybe Pine Valley can finally be the home she’s never really had.

Andrew Zimmerman lives for his twin daughters. But he’s filled with rage that his wife paid the ultimate price. He won’t stop hunting the man or woman that gave the order.
He just caught a break when he discovers Tasha Volkov, the sister of the Volkov cartel boss is living in the tiny town of Pine Valley where he’s headed for a friends wedding. He’s determined to get the answers one way or the other.
But the closer he gets to the truth the more confused he becomes about the woman and his mission. And the cartel is closing in.

*I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*

Code Name Gemini..what a roller coaster ride

This book has all the thrills and chills you could possibly want. Revenge, cartels, love family and brotherhood. You can never go wrong with a book by Janie Crouch. Andrew and Tasha wow what a couple and the members of the tactical team we all know and love. Storyline was superb and character development is very strong. You shouldn't miss this series as it is one of the author's best.

This was an emotional rollercoaster as we delves in to Andrew and Tasha story of what they had been through. Tasha was such a strong character who had been hiding from her brother after learning about the family business, and Andrew was undercover and had to face the ultimate penalty for being one of the good guys. I would of loved to see more interactions with the kids but I enjoyed seeing the fast forward epilogue at the end

From the moment I started reading this i was taken on a journey, and it was a real page turner that I couldn’t put down

This was a cute story. Tasha was Andrew's angel, and I love that. The suspense was great, and I'm sad to see this series come to an end.

First let me say this book is way worthy of more then 5 stars. Then this book is a crossover of the Zodiac Tactical series and the Injured Heroes Series by Danielle M. Haas.
Andrew Zimmerman wants revenge on one Roman Volkov for the death of his wife. He’s trying his best to raise his twin girls without a mother. He’s gearing up to head for Pine Valley, TN, to attend his friends wedding. He learns that Roman has a sister, and she will be at the wedding. It’s game time. They need to bring the cartel down, find out what the sister knows, and he wants revenge. There is nothing he won’t do to get them.

Tasha feels safe for the most part in Pine Valley, TN, at the Crossroads Mountain Retreat teaching some yoga. She’s been running from her life, her family, to be exact. She went and did something that they didn’t like. She saved some people. That went against her half brother. The last person she expected to see at the retreat was that man. She hoped he didn’t know who she was. When they were introduced he didn’t let on. So that was good.

Andrew didn’t let on anything, and neither did Tasha. But it was all lies. It was only then when they both knew the truth about the other. If even that was the whole truth.

The best or worst was yet to come. Hang on for a ride you won’t soon forget.

Code Name Gemini is the sixth book in the Zodiac Tactical (ZT) series and considered a standalone. This is the first book that I have read that is co-written by Janie Crouch and Danielle M. Haas and it’s also the first book I have read by Danielle M. Haas. This book is the second chance at love small town romantic suspense of how Andrew Zimmerman finds love again with Tasha Volkov.

I didn’t have a chance to re-read Tristan’s book, Code Name Pisces, before this one or the last book in the ZT series to refresh my memory on where the series left off. Life has been super busy lately and fortunately for me this book does a little bit of recapping. And boy does this book make my crossover loving heart happy. Just wait until you read this book and see who is in it??!!!

Andrew Zimmerman is a former Navy SEAL and an agent with Zodiac Tactical, but hasn’t been active the past three years. He has spent that time healing and raising his twin daughters, Caroline and Olivia, while trying to put himself back together after his wife was killed while on a mission. Andrew is also the twin to Tristan Zimmerman, another ZT agent, and brother to Gavin and Lyn Zimmerman. When a lead on the Volkov Cartel is hot and coincidently located in the same area as Andrew is heading to, he decides to take on the mission so he can finally take down the man responsible for his wife’s death. But what happens in the mountains is nothing what he imagined would happen and the sparks start flying between these two the moment he lays eyes on Tasha. Little did he know that who he thought was his enemy was actually a guardian angel.

Tasha Volvo was born into the Volkov family as an innocent bystander and knew little of what the family business was. For the past three years she has been on the run and has tried to keep a low profile in hopes that the cartel won’t find her and make her pay again for what she did years ago. But when a person from her past crosses her path, the urge to run is high as well as her paranoia. The small town has served her well the past few months, but when the unthinkable happens she has no one else to turn to other than Andrew for help. How everything plays out is nothing like she could have ever imagined.

The relationship between Andrew and Tasha is a fast paced one that started out as an enemies to lovers, but morphed into something else once all their secrets were revealed. As they learn more about each other, they find it hard to stay away from each other, like there is this magnetic pull that keeps them coming back to one another. And when the cartel find them, it’s a race against time to find shelter, figure out how to capture the bad guys and keep them both alive and safe. They found something in each other that they were both missing and even though they both experience tragic heart break, together they were able to mend their broken hearts and find a love that’s everlasting and unbreakable.

I believe this is the last book in the series and that makes me sad, but I am so excited about exploring the characters that I believe are from Danielle Haas’s series. And I can’t wait to see what and who Janie Crouch writes next. I recommend this small town romantic suspense book to anyone in need of a good book to get lost in as well as the other Zodiac Tactical books in Janie Crouch’s backlist. I do love how Code Name Gemini gives a second chance at love a little twist with thrills, suspense, steam, spice, and the love that we all love and root for. There is so much more I want to say, but I would most likely spill the beans and ruin this book for you and that would be a travesty. So please grab a copy of this book and read Andrew and Tasha’s story.

Side Note: You might find that the Zimmerman name is familiar and that’s because the other Zimmerman siblings and cousins have already been featured in books written by Janie Crouch.

Gavin Zimmerman is the oldest sibling of the Zimmerman’s and has his own book, Redwood, in the Linear Tactical series.
Lyn Zimmerman is the only girl in the Zimmerman siblings and her love story is featured in the book, Shadow, in the Linear Tactical series.
Tristan Zimmerman is Andrew’s twin and has his own book, Code Name Pisces, in the Zodiac Tactical series.
Noah Dempsey is a cousin to the Zimmerman clan and has his own book, Storm, in the Linear Tactical series.

Janie Crouch is a long-time favorite author of mine, while Danielle Haas is new to me. Together, they have crafted an intensely emotional story that engrossed me from the beginning AND introduced me to a new author and series to add to my ever-growing list of "want-to-read" books.

Andrew Zimmerman is the last of the Zimmerman siblings from the Linear Tactical and Zodiac Tactical series. Three years ago, Andrew stopped taking on active missions with Zodiac Tactical after his wife was murdered because of his undercover work. Now, he works behind the scenes as he raises his twin daughters, Charlotte and Olivia. The desire to get revenge on Roman Volkov is always at the back of his mind. When he discovers that the man's sister, Tasha, lives in the same town where he's headed for a friend's wedding, he's all in to find out what she knows about Roman's activities.

Tasha has been on the run for three years, ever since she discovered the truth about her family's activities and dared to interfere. She's been in Pine Valley for a few months, and it feels like the home she's never had. But she always looks over her shoulder, expecting Roman to find her at any time. She never expected to see the man whose life she saved show up in her adopted town.

At the first meeting between Andrew and Tasha, they recognized each other but didn't let on. Andrew is convinced that Tasha knows where Roman is and will do anything to find out. Tasha recognizes Andrew as the man she saved along with his children, but she is still wracked with guilt over not being able to save his wife. Neither expected the sparks of attraction that immediately flared between them. Because of those sparks, his initial attempt to get closer to her goes too far, adding to his guilt and being a complete jerk to Tasha. Andrew retreats to regroup and returns to Pine Valley a few weeks later.

With increased determination, Andrew intends to get to the truth. But the more time he spends with Tasha, the more he believes she is innocent of involvement in Roman's activities. When a trap is laid that sends her running for her life, the truth finally comes out - on both sides. I ached for Tasha and her feelings of betrayal when she had begun to trust Andrew. Andrew's protective instincts kick in when he hears her story. All he wants to do is keep her safe until Roman is caught. Then, he can explore his growing feelings for her. But both must overcome the effects of their pasts before they can look at a future together.

The suspense of the story kept me hooked from start to finish. From the first resurfacing of Roman and his deadly activities to the final confrontation, I was never sure what would happen next. I could feel the building tension as ZT tried to smoke out Roman. Then, to find out why he was after Tasha added a new level of intensity to the need to stop him. The twists of the final confrontation kept me glued to the pages until it was all over. I loved the ending and seeing the effect on Andrew and Tasha and their relationship.

I enjoyed meeting a new group of people and hearing about their efforts for injured veterans and law enforcement. It reminds me of the Resting Warrior Ranch, another series that I loved. I'm looking forward to diving into the new series that begins with Tasha's friend Laura and reading the other books in the Injured Heroes series.

Seeing some of the Linear Tactical people appear in this book was great. I love how they have the backs of their ZT comrades.

CODE NAME: GEMINI is the sixth instalment in the contemporary adult ZODIAC TACTICAL romantic suspense series co-authored by Janie Crouch and Danielle M. Haas. This is yoga instructor Tasha Volkov, and Zodiac Tactical agent Andrew Zimmerman’s story line. CODE NAME: GEMINI can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

NOTE: CODE NAME: GEMINI by Janie Crouch’s blends the author’s Zodiac Tactical series, and Danielle M Haas’ Injured Heroes series.

Told from dual omniscient third person perspectives (Tasha and Andrew) CODE NAME: GEMINI focuses on the take down of the man who destroyed Andrew Zimmerman’s life. Approximately three years earlier, while working undercover for the Volkov Bratva, Andrew and his family would become the targets of the man in charge, leaving Andrew a widow, raising two children on his own. Fast forward to present day wherein Zodiac Tactical believes the Volkov Bratva has returned to their old ways, and someone else may be along for the ride. Hoping to end the Volkov reign of terror, Zodiac Tactical sets their sights on Tasha Volkov, and Andrew Zimmerman is determined to destroy the woman before she destroys anyone else. What ensues is the building but struggling relationship between Tasha and Andrew, and the potential fall-out as the past returns taking aim at our story line couple.

The world building focuses on Andrew’s need for revenge. Three years earlier the Bratva destroyed his family, leaving Andrew a shell of his former self but our hero never expected to discover a ghost from the past, living and working with the people he knew. Determined to have his revenge, Andrew ‘volunteers’ to go under cover in an effort to ferret out the woman with whom he will fall in love.

The relationship between Andrew and Tasha is predicated upon a lie. Andrew is hoping Tasha knows more than she is willing to reveal, and Tasha suspects Andrew may be the beginning of the end of her peace and well-being. As the relationship develops, the assignment begins to darken, forcing Tasha to run, to save her life. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and familiar secondary and supporting characters from ZODIAC TACTICAL and INJURED HEROES bringing familiarity and cohesion between both series.

CODE NAME: GEMINI is a story of betrayal and revenge, power and control, obsession and madness, forgiveness and love. The fast paced, character driven premise is captivating, edgy and dramatic; the romance is seductive and emotional; the characters are broken, desperate and dynamic.

Zodiac Tactical Gemini Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

I’ve been a fan of Janie Crouch since Cyclone which is the first in the Linear Tactical series and I will ABSOLUTELY DEVOUR anything she writes!!! So when she started the Zodiac Tactical series I was so freaking excited since we met a couple of the men throughout the Linear Tactical series and she made both series crossover a couple of times. Now with this new one she has teamed up with author Danielle M. Haas to create Gemini and let me tell you…….I’m now going to be adding Danielle’s books to my TBR!!!

Andrew Zimmerman, who is the twin of Tristan and brother to Gavin (Redwood) and Lyn. I couldn’t have been more excited to read his story and it wasn’t an easy one. Andrew is the amazing father to the cutest twin little girls Olivia and Caroline. However evil did attempt to completely ruin his life which took him out of commission with Zodiac Tactical, but when evil rears it’s ugly head again what do you do? Tasha has always been a gentle, kind and genuine woman who was sent away after her mother passed away. When she finally learns who and what her family and half brother truly are she’s sick beyond belief and will do whatever she can to keep people safe. One fateful night her efforts are almost completely thwarted but will she be successful? Will she be able to keep herself safe from her past that wants to destroy her?

A wedding in small town Tennessee couldn’t possibly be the answers to all of the questions that Andrew has had since leaving Zodiac Tactical? Could this town bring him closure as well as his future? Tasha has learned to be a loaner and live a simple lifestyle but will that all come crashing down? These two have a combustible connection that could bring them together or ultimately destroy them? What is the fate of Gemini aka the twins when it comes to Zodiac Tactical? Will Tasha ever truly be able to trust and confide in anyone with her truth and past?

This story had me from absolute page one and guessing the entire time about everything. I held my iPad close most of the time and then wanted to throw it some other times. Janie knows how to write such delicious, strong, alpha men who also can be a little bit of a bonehead at times, which to me is extremely endearing. Danielle helped to create such a beautiful, strong, kind, loving woman that you couldn’t help but want to be her friend. The passion, love, pain, action, mystery, humor and everything else contained in these pages sent me on the best emotional rollercoaster and I CANT WAIT FOR MORE!!!

OH WOW. ANOTHER MUST READ HIT

GEMINI. Janie Crouch and Danielle Haas

Andrew Zimmerman is the twin of Tristin (PISCES), brother of Gavan (REDWOOD) and Lyn (and Heath’s story which has been read and reviewed and…) who unlike her brothers’ is a linguistic major with a heart condition requiring Heath to carry her DFl in his “man pouch”. Andrew is the father of twin daughters and is no longer an active member of Zodiac Tactical but rides a desk as an invaluable member of the team. His wife was killed by Roman Volkov in a fire bombing of their home. He and the twins were saved by an angel, in his words, unknown to him, the half-sister of his nemesis Tasha. None of this is a spoiler. Andrew and the twins come to Pine Valley, Tennessee to the wedding of close friends. There he meets Tasha Bowers, a part time yoga instructor. They recognize each other without acknowledging the other in any way that would give up their identities. Andrew and his team are looking for Roman, who has recently resurfaced and plan to use Tasha to locate him. Two-fold for Andrew… the end of the man responsible for the fire which killed his beloved wife Kylie and to get to Tasha’s truth when and what dos she know… which readers know… she hates her half-brother. He does stupid stuff and leaves for home knowing what he has has done.

Andrew has to make arrangements to protect his twins as he returns to Pine Valley with a Zodiac team, which will include bugging her very tiny home and making finances tighter for her so she has to work another job. And he owes her an apology. Clues are slowly uncovered and what IS in the safety deposit box? The more he and his team learn about her, the less they know until…. It snows. The beauty of Janie Crouch stories is her overlap with Zodiac Tactical and Linear Tactical friends readers have come to know and love. Danielle Haas has added her own characters readers will learn of in her series set in Pine Valley. Will we see more of Andrew and Tasha? Any of Linear or Zodiac? Remains to be seen.

Highly recommend this book. Intriguing, twists and turns, a few OMG, passionate and the question…will Tasha and Andrew find common ground or will forgiveness run out? Are there more than 5 stars?

This is the complicated love story of Tasha Volkov and Andrew Zimmerman. It is an “enemy to lovers” story that will captivate the reader’s attention from the very first page until the last page in the book.

Three years ago, the wife of Zodiac Tactical agent Andrew was murdered by Roman Volkov. He wanted to kill everyone who had ever crossed him, but Andrew and his twin daughters survived the attack. He then walked away from the Zodiac group so he can concentrate on raising his young daughters. In spite of that, he despises Roman and hopes someday to revenge his wife’s death.

Tasha is Roman’s sister. She is on the run from her brother and his cartel who also want to kill her for crossing him. She is now living at the Crossroads Mountain Retreat in Tennessee where she has found a peaceful home where the people accept her need to keep to herself.

When Zodiac agents find .out that Tasha is Roman’s sister, they are not sure whether she is involved with the cartel or not. However, Andrew doesn’t care. He despises Tasha because of her brother and, therefore, makes plans to use her to lead Zodiac agents to Roman. Unfortunately, his hatred, and need for revenge, is so strong that he has no scruples about how he does it.

He decides to befriend the lonely woman and make her think he cares about her. But he doesn’t expect to have feelings for this vulnerable, sensitive woman who just wants to be left alone. Tasha also does not want to get involved because she knows that her brother will kill anyone who gets involved with her. Both of them fight their feelings, but it is very difficult because their strong attraction for each other is difficult to ignore.

This thought-provoking story is a page-turner filled with riveting suspense and non-stop action. The authors skillfully portray the characters’ confusion as they fight their emotions for each other. Andrew’s emotions often switch between respect for Tasha and his need to use her to find Roman. Tasha fights her attraction because she fears for Andrew’s life.

I highly recommend this exciting, suspenseful book!

Another winner in the Zodiac Tactical/Linear Tactical universe.

Andrew lost his wife to a cartel psycho three years ago. Since then, he has devoted himself to raising his young daughters and wishing for revenge on cartel crazyman, Roman. When an opportunity arises to finally capture this villain, he jumps at it. While attending a friend's wedding, he will do his best to track down Roman's sister Tasha. Conflicted by his physical attraction to someone he believes to be involved in the hit on his family.

Tasha has been hiding from her brother since she betrayed the cartel and saved Andrew and his children. Sheltered from the truth of her family's business for most of her life, when she realized Roman put hits out law enforcement officers and other innocents, she tried to save them, but only succeeded with Andrew and his two girls. She's been running and hiding ever since. She has finally slowed down enough to make some friends in a small town in Tennessee, even though she still sleeps with a gun next to the bed. When she meets Andrew at a friend's wedding, she feels the same attraction that he does, but is wary of letting anyone in.

Told in alternating first person POV, Andrew and Tasha provide very different perspectives on the events leading up to the attempted capture of Roman. It takes some time for secrets to be revealed and Tasha's role in Andrew's life to come to light.

Action-packed, with a strong romance element to the story, this is another winning suspenseful romance from Janie Crouch. While Andrew runs hot and cold at first while he continues to struggle with the loss of his wife, raising two young children and suddenly experiencing desire for someone new, his character develops into a loving protector who will do anything to save the woman he loves. Tasha is surprisingly fierce and strong-willed. Once she allows others in, she proves herself to be a caring person who is a good fit for Andrew.

Four stars for this suspense-driven romance.

This is an honest, voluntary review of an ARC of the story.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest and voluntary review. This book is neat as it is a crossover of the Zodiac Tactical series and the Injured Heroes Series by Danielle M. Haas. I personally haven't read Ms. Haas before but will be checking her books out. Ms. Crouch is one of my top 5 fav authors, so if she writes with another author I'm sure I'll enjoy those books.
Andrew is the last of the Zimmermans to get his HEA. We met him way back in the Linear Tactical series where one brother and his sister found their HEA. His twin brother Tristan was the feature of a Zodiac Tactical book. Andrew's world was torn apart when his house was targeted by cartel leader Roman Volkov. When Zodiac finds out that Roman is still alive and a link to him through his site Tasha, Andrew is committed to this assignment. It's a chance to avenge his wife's death and bring down the cartel. Tasha Volkov is Roman's half sister and is against what her brother does. Risked her life to try and save someone her brother ordered dead. She's been on the run ever since. She knows that her brother will kill her if he ever finds her.
It's a coincidence that she settles in the same Tennessee town that Andrew's friends run Crossroads Mountain retreat a place for wounded warriors to heal, both law enforcement and veterans. A chance meeting isn't exactly a chance meeting but it's the basis of Andrew getting close to Tasha so she will lead him to her brother. Just not in the way he expects, because she really is innocent, even if Andrew struggles to believe that. Oh and the sparks fly, as they are drawn to each other from also first sight.
As I've come to expect from Ms. Crouch, this was a wild page turning ride. This is why she's one of my favorite authors.

Code Name: Gemini is the sixth book set within the Zodiac Tactical series, connected to the Injured Heroes series, but reads really well as a stand alone. For the past three years, Andrew has only wanted revenge for the death of his wife, which leads him to Tasha. Unsure of her loyalties, he grows close to her. While instincts scream she’s innocent, can Andrew trust Tasha and keep her safe?

Holy smokes! This book was pure fire! I started it, thinking it would take me a few days to savor and enjoy, but nope, I read it practically in one sitting because I was dying to know what was going to happen next! Tasha and Andrew completely captivated me, and it was so hard to sit on the sidelines, knowing all of the secrets, but not being able to help them through anything! Wow, seriously, this book was so good! Tasha was pure. She was brave and selfless and I really loved her character, even when she felt used and alone. Andrew was protective and caring, but I loved that he balanced on such a precarious line between trust and hate, with love and honesty pushed to the side for the pursuit of truth. Dang, but they had good chemistry! I loved their connection, I loved the drama that unfolded between the main characters as well as surrounding them, and loved the heart-pounding, edge of my seat feeling I got throughout this entire book. You need this book in your life! Bonus for getting to see old, familiar characters, and double bonus for introducing new characters that I’m dying to know their backstory, too! Go get this book!

Another riveting read from the off, great characters and story, you will read in one sitting
Andrew Zimmerman is a widower that is doing his upmost to raise his children the way his wife would have wished, he feels her loss deeply right to his very soul but he is determined to soldier on.
Tasha is running for her life and never could she have believed that it would have been her half brother and that he would actually believe that she had some part in his wife murder, the thought is more than she can bare.
She Has no option other than to run and once again she finds herself with Andrew who she has known from her past, unfortunately and without going into detail as I do not want to spoil the plot for other readers. In their past encounter neither was entirely honest about themselves and their lives and so this is not the easiest of reintroductions.
She hopes that Andrew will be able to help her discover the information her half brother is so desperately seeking, she wants to be free of the threat over her life but also knows that Andrew has greater responsibilities his children and will not do anything to bring danger or harm to their door.
Read this totally riveting book, I guarantee that it will be impossible to put down till you reach the end and discover the outcome.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

To say Andrew and Tasha’s story had my emotions all over the place is an understatement. Andrew Zimmerman, Code name Gemini, has taken a step back from any active missions ever since his wife was murdered a few years ago. He knew he needed to be there for his twin daughters. Even though he mostly works behind the scenes, when he found out that the person behind his wife’s murder was still alive, he was all in to go back undercover. The way back in was through Tasha, the newly discovered sister of the cartel leader Roman Volkov.

Tasha has actually been on the run, hiding from her half-brother ever since she betrayed him by saving one of his targets. My heart felt for everything she was going through. She found an amazing community in Pine Valley, Tennessee, but she never felt safe enough to really trust anyone. Tasha’s life takes a dramatic turn when she is convinced to attend a wedding taking place at the retreat she has been working.

My heart was tied up in knots reading through Tasha and Andrew’s story. I could understand Andrew’s need for revenge and how he was willing to do anything to get it, but knowing what Tasha had done for him, I was so sad for all the lies coming her way. It took a bit of time but Andrew caught on that Tasha has also been a victim and they are connected to each other, not only because of their attraction to one another.

Overall, I really enjoyed their story, the suspense and drama definitely kept me at the edge of my seat. It was so nice to see so many familiar and unfamiliar faces and how they assisted keeping Tasha safe. And finally giving Tasha and also Andrew some peace together.

Code Name Gemini is a crossover book by Janie into the Injured Heroes series by Danielle M Harris. After being introduced to some of the Heroes characters I am definitely going to read the series. But, the focus here is a Zodiac Tactical operative and his teammates. An undercover assignment to ferret out the truth, an attraction to a would be enemy, a violent cartel, kidnappings, blackmail and so much more populate these riveting romance.

Andrew Zimmerman is a man bent on vengeance no matter how long it takes to exact it. Life as he knew it ceased three years ago when his wife was murdered by the Volkov cartel. His reason for carrying on? His twin daughters. Tasha Volkov is a woman on the run. She's as much a victim of her half-brother's cruelty as are all those whose lives he's taken. Finding a haven, albeit temporary, in Pine Valley has given a bit of a respite in her journey of fear. Running into Andrew was a shocker for her as much as he was surprised by seeing her. Determined to root out Tasha's connections to the cartel Andrew pursues her seeking information and answers. Despite his plans he's surprised by his attraction to this woman. The more he learns the more he wants to know. She valiantly tries to avoid any emotional entanglement but it's a losing battle. Ultimately the truth is completely uncovered some of it to Andrew's shock. His finally gets the takedown he's worked so long for? Plus he gets another chance at happiness.

What an absolutely amazing book! Four years ago Andrew's wife was killed in a fire that Andrew and his 2 baby girls escaped. The fire was because of Roman part of the cartel and Andrew hasn't been able to move on from losing his wife.
Tasha is Roman's step sister, she grew up not knowing that her family was in the cartel, but once she finds out she wants nothing to do with it. When she finds out that Roman was going to kill Andrew and his family in the house fire she manages to get his twin daughters and himself out of the fire but unfortunately couldn't get his wife. Now she's in hiding from Roman, she knows he'll never forgive her for betraying him and he'd kill her without a second thought.
When Andrew and Tasha meet at a friends wedding they both know who the other is but don't let on. Andrew is able to get under her defenses and plants bugs all over her house. By the time he finds out she's actually innocent he's betrayed her in a lot of ways. He wants to make it up to her and show her that he's fallen in love with her, but before he can do that Roman kidnaps her.
Andrew and his team set out to save the woman he loves. After his wife died he didn't think he'd ever find love again, but Tasha snuck under her defenses. Not only does he want her for himself but he knows she'll make an amazing mother for his twin daughters.
Of course there is a happily ever after for everyone involved ,but you need to read it to see the ending.

Let me start by saying that I am not only a fan of the Zodiac Tactical series but I have read all of the Linear Tactical and Crossroads Mountain Retreat books. I was thrilled to see a collaboration between these two authors and see what happens when both fictional worlds combined. Gemini was a great romantic suspense story. Andrew Zimmerman is a widower who works with Zodiac in a limited business position. When information comes in that the man responsible for his wife's murder is in Tennessee, Andrew wants to help in any way possible. That means going undercover to get information on their suspected link to Roman Volkov. Tasha Volkov is Roman's estranged half sister. She has been on the run from him for years. She has changed her identity to keep under the radar and has ended up in Pine Mountain, Tennessee. She lives a quiet life teaching yoga and keeping to herself. Andrew and the rest of Zodiac feel that Tasha could be the link to Roman and sadly they plan to use any means necessary to get their man. Honestly I still haven't forgiven Andrew for his deception! So that is the beginning of Andrew and Tasha's story. If you want to know more buckle up for and exciting ride! If you haven't read the other books in the series Gemini does stand alone but I highly recommend reading them all to get to know the supporting characters. Gemini was told from dual POV and had so many heartfelt moments, action and plenty of heat.

Code Name: Gemini by Janie Crouch and Danielle M. Haas
Zodiac Tactical #6

Action-packed, emotionally intense, thrill ride from beginning to end ~ Couldn’t put it down!

What I liked:
* Andrew Zimmerman: widow, single father of twin daughters, Zodiac Tactical agent, wants revenge for the death of his wife at the hands of Roman Volkov, strong, loving, lethal, team player
* Tasha Volkov: half-sister to Roman Volkov, on the run for her life, survivor, resilient, caring, kind, on edge, moves often, afraid her brother will kill her for something she did
* Caroline and Olive: twins, four years old, happy well-adjusted daughters of Andrew, a delightful addition to the story
* The angel that saved Andrew and his daughters when his wife died
* Laura: Tasha’s friend, has a secret she shares with Laura, hoping she has a book of her own with a happy ending
* Isaac: intrigued by him and wondering when his book will arrive
* Seeing the various other team members and how they are doing
* The plot, pacing, setting, and writing
* Knowing there will be another book in the series

What I didn’t like:
* Who and what I was meant not to like
* Thinking about evil Roman Volkov and his thugs

Did I enjoy this book? Yes
Would I read more in this series? Yes

Thank you to the authors for the ARC – This is my honest review.

GEMINI. Janie Crouch and Danielle Haas

Three years ago, Andrew stopped taking on active missions with Zodiac Tactical after his wife was murdered, because of his undercover work.
Now, he works behind the scenes as he raises his twin daughters, Charlotte and Olivia.
The desire to get revenge on Roman Volkov is always there
When he discovers that the man's step sister,Tasha,a part time yoga instructor, lives in the same town, where he's headed for a friend's wedding, he's all in to find out what she knows about Roman's activities.
Tasha Volkov has been hiding from her step brother who is the head of the cartel since her father's death over three years ago .
When she meets Andrew at a friend's wedding, she feels the same attraction that he does, but is wary of letting anyone in.
Once she allows others in, she proves herself to be a caring person who is a good fit for Andrew.
You don’t need to read other books in the series to follow Gemini , but it will be a bonus as Janie Crouch is a legend and knows how to create suspense.
Janie Crouch is a long-time favorite author of mine, while Danielle Haas is totally new to me.
I really enjoyed reading Code Name Gemini . This story is outstanding.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

First off let me start by saying that, like every other book in this series, I could not put this down once I started it. Totally serious. Started reading over breakfast and thought I'd read a little and then get some chores done. Nope. Nothing got done except moving from my breakfast bar to my sofa and reading this straight through. That being said I loved Tasha. I felt so bad for her and what it must have been like to learn her family was not what she thought and then her courage to stand up to her brother. I felt her fear resonate through the pages. As to Andrew, while I did completely understand his suffering and need for revenge, I must admit at first I was annoyed with him and his insistence that Tasha had to be bad because her family was bad. I mean come on - he's been around the block enough times that he has to know you can't just assume that is always the case. But that feeling of him changed just as quickly as his feelings for Tasha changed. The story that emerged was just a perfect example of a romantic suspense. Once our villain shows up and the climax of the story occurs - just wow. Hold on to your seat is all I can say! Loved the HEA at the end as well as seeing characters from books earlier in the series & from the Linear books. It was like visiting old friends. Highly recommend this book and plan on re-reading it.

I voluntarily reviewed "CODE NAME: GEMINI" I loved this story so much emotional turmoil, angst, revenge, heartache, sadness, fear, suspense, danger intrigue, secrets, vulnerability, twists that keeps you turning the pages if this riviting rollercoaster ride.
Andrew Zimmerman an Agent of Zodiac Tactical hasn't been in the field since he lost his wife Kylie 3yrs. ago a hit ordered by none other than Roman Volkov of Volkov Cartel a truly sadistic psycho, Andrew learns of a sister Tasha Volkov who's in Pine Valley Tennessee.
Andrew goes to Pine Valley to get close to Tasha to find out if she's working with her 1/2 brother Roman or is she an innocentmshe works with his friends at Crossroads Retreat as a Yoga instructor, he hooes she'll lead him to Roman to finally take him out.
I definitely recommend to get this extremely well written intense story watching Andrew & Tasha together to see if she's in incent or not, so many emotional moments, regrets, will they get a HEA in the end, you must read to see what happens I couldn't put it down you so won't he disappointed I loved it with awesome interesting characters.
I'm looking forward to "Laura Metcalf & Cade Sulley's" story in "SAFE HAVE WOMEN'S SHELTER SERIES" to see what happens to her Tasha's BF who had secrets of her own.
PHENOMINAL MUST HAVE HEARTFELT ROMANCE I LOVED IT 🖤 🖤 🖤 🖤 🖤

This is another hold on to your seat suspense romance that I couldn't put down. Andrew and Tasha draw so much emotion out of you. (There is a scene between them that really shook me up and surprised me in a way that I still can't believe it happened - sorry no spoilers on this one, but you will know it when you read it.) Andrew and Tasha's pains, their sorrows, their regrets cling to them as their heat and passion ignite hopeful dreams and wishes.

Olivia and Charlotte, Andrew's four year old twin daughters are precious and add that touch of innocence that shines through the dark element of the book and gives Andrew his purpose. It is what he is fighting for until he realizes he could have even more with Tasha. Tasha's reserved friendship with Laura seems to be as close to a family as she will get until she finds out who else is in her corner.

I love how there is always a twist to the drama within the Zodiac Tactical as well as Janie Crouch's Linear Tactical series of books. There is nothing stale, over played or predictable with the suspense, action and happy endings that you will encounter. You will be champions of these characters and feel amazing to be a part of their journey.
