I enjoyed reading this story especially because it's very different from the ones usually written by Ms. Pierce. There's mystery, suspense, and horror, everything linked to stories related to a small Scottish island! Finn and Amelia work well together and there's a possibility of something else developing between them, but there's also Demi, Finn's ex-fiancée, and the lawsuit that keeps on hanging on his head. The story ends on a cliffhanger and I'm looking forward to learning what will happen next!
I'm really enjoying this series. I like how this one had a scooby doo feel to it for me. Finn finds himself on a small island trying to catch a bad guy. Multiple storms rage on through the book but give a good Scotland feel to the book.
This book has plenty of action and atmosphere. Its setting is an island off the Scottish mainland. Many storms and old legends and a creepy mansion at to the mix. The body count keeps rising as Finn and Amelia try to catch a killer.
Astounding mystery, set in England. Meeting new and old friends. Solving enthralling high-profile murders, with many cultural and historical elements toss in.
