Well written up to date accounting of main public health challenges we all face. Also includes success stories and much reason for optimism, if we act. If not, things don't look very good.

This is a very good read for anyone new to public health who wants a general overview -- should be required reading for leaders in the public and private sectors. Anyone who read this should also read Bill Gates' speach at the Harvard graduation in 07.
