For Marc and his party, their current quest seems to drag on and on. Clearing the Labyrinth, defeating Circe, destroying Medusa, and more have become a grind. The main factor that keeps them going is that Zeus is keeping his promise by helping their levels shoot up.

Meanwhile, Marc's Safe Zone, Any Port, and the accompanying Safe Zone network continue expanding and growing. They keep him busy whenever he manages to get back home on breaks from the quest.

With the Egyptians finally removed from Olympus, Marc is overjoyed that Beggar, and now Matilda as well, will be joining them to finish their quest.

With the end of the acclimatization year rapidly approaching, Marc, his group, and his father are all worried about who might arrive at the end of the first year and are taking steps to ensure that it will be difficult to smother their growing Safe Zone network by surrounding it.

Tom Larcombe

Tom Larcombe was introduced to fantasy books at a young age. Those that were aimed more at children hooked him in, but not well enough for him to remember their names at this point in his life. Their draw led him to books aimed more for the adult reader and so he found himself, at around age eight, starting in on the Steven R Donaldson 'Thomas Covenant' series and the Hobbit, followed shortly thereafter by The Lord of the Rings books.

His reading tastes have never looked back, although they have broadened to include science fiction and the occasional non-fiction book.

He lives in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains with his wife, two daughters, three cats, and a variable number of chickens.

Almost there!

Book seven of eight.

I have to admit, at about book book three and four I almost quit and walked away. So much whiny complaining between the party members. So much administrative nonsense when the party was not actively engaged in a dungeon crawl. So much leather crafting, OMG!

Bit I have stuck it out this far, and I'm glad I did. The party is pulling it together. Any Port is starting to feel like a place. The System makes sense.

Marcus is still some kind of introvert weirdo who can't bother to remember people's names. At least he manages to care about groups of people, if not individuals. And he makes sure to help those in need.

Yes, I am looking forward to book eight. Not because it is finally the end, but because I've come to genuinely enjoy the series. It was difficult, but worth it so far.

Read for fun and read every day! Cheers!

This is no System Apocalypse or Shadow Sun let me tell you. It starts out very good then it fumbles through boring conversations and uninteresting relationships. I just finished the 7th book and I ask myself why I am still reading it. I guess because even though there is nothing really good, there is nothing really bad about it either. It is very very bland. This book doesn't suffer from lack of writing skill, it suffers from lack of imagination. At least the fights are brief, good thing to or I would have stopped reading. This story does a lot of telling and not enough showing. I like all of the creature and people elements.. well I am not too fond of Felicia (I don't know why but if the author wants to kill her off that might be interesting).

Again an excellent continuation

Because I have enjoyed this entire series, I bought the full set to number 7. I am excited to see and read book 8. Lots of adventure and seeing that maybe the Greek gods and Egyptian gods were only enhanced and immortal beings. Seeing Marc and his group overcome many obstacles in their path to create a 'kingdom' that has to survive what the System is going to do next, as in open Earth to others from space, dimensions, times, etc., is making for sit on the edge of your seat revelations as well as excitement!! I highly recommend the entire series, but, be sure to read them in order so you can keep up with the storyline.

Another snooze-fest 66% and I'm looking at reviews and writing comments instead of reading the story. In one of the subplots Marc meets a bunch of people who speak Greek, even though he learned "Ancient" Greek with his ESL skill in book six, and used it on a bunch of in this book, he seems to have completely forgotten that skill even exists in the Circe story arc.

The final 1/3 picked up, the final battle lasted paragraphs instead of chapters, the resolution with the elves even felt a bit rushed. With the ending, I may even consider book 8 when/if it comes out.

This is such a wonderful series and this latest book does not disappoint. The storylines from the previous books continue, the characters becomes stronger and there is more character development. What I really appreciate is that the core team has never changed throughout the series, yes, there are some issues but there is no in-fighting, they support each other and have remained friends throughout everything they've been through. That is so rare in these types of books that the author should be applauded for it. I look forward to reading the next book.

Another great story in this series!

It had been a while, so I just reread the first six books and then this, new to me, seventh book. I enjoyed reading all of them and am really looking forward to the next books! They haven't hit the end of the acclimatization year yet, when more people from other worlds will have access to planet Earth, so that will really ramp things up.

Though, and I won't spoil it, but Marc finds himself with a new challenge right at the end of this book. It's not a big surprise, though it was to him. Let's hope he thinks up a good name. 😀

Disappointing

There is so much potential but just fails miserably. It reads almost as bad as a tech manual. The way the story goes on like a run on sentence lacking any real content, its too many things going on and the focus of the book is all over the place. At 50% it was like is this plot actually going anywhere or are they just stuffing the book with senseless content. Also thee main character is such a man child as well as Jeff and rest of the characters are mentally lacking, its like children trying to pretend to be adults.
Overall very boring

Help me read more books

I'm really enjoying this series, and this latest book is no exception. Love the building, the creating, the new monsters that show up in every book, and of course, the promise of more in future books. You can't beat that. Great stuff here folks.

Read all 7 books in one week.

Yes, that good of a tale. The progression sections get a bit lengthy, but for those who love a good mix of action and building, mixed with well-written characters, this series is for you. Minor editing issues, but definitely did not detract from the story.
Hey Tom, give Jeff a break lol. I'm starting to feel sorry for the guy! ❤️😜

looking forward to read next one

looking forward to read next one, I enjoy the character and his journey, this one did feel more like a journey, mind you that could just be just my state of mind. Marc is a likeable character who has grown over the series. I got to the end was surprised it had ended,

still impressed with this series

When I first picked up this series, I didn’t expect much. I can’t believe how well written, and thought out that these books are. Thinking of all of the small steps to create a civilization and not being boring while doing it is amazing. Can’t wait to read the next one.

May I have 7 more please!!

Still just as much fun to read as the first book in the series. Marc and the team are growing stronger and more mature, while just trying to make sure humans survive. I have recommended to all my reader friends, and hopefully I’ll get those books I asked for;)

growing

Wrapping up the Greek quests and moving the Egyptians to their new home. The team continues to grow stronger.

I would gladly pre-order the next book if I knew when it was coming out.

Much better than book 6 where they spent most of the time playing errand minions for gods (Level 100+) people from when the system was on earth in the distant past. So while there were some errands, it was very much back to base building.

As always a good read

A well written continuation of the story.
Fun adventures with some cool system elements.
Interesting interpretations of Greek mythos and interactions with them.

Keep them coming.

Another good book.

It's a little slower than previous books and not a lot of surprises. It looks like this one sets the foundations for the next book, which should be pretty exciting.

Waiting for the next one

Thoroughly enjoyable as usual.
Will be interesting to see how the next book goes.
Sometimes would be nice to see them dealing with awkward people in a bit more detail, like in earlier books.

Hard to put down

You might think that the 7th in a series with way overpowered characters would be less absorbing than this is. I'm really looking forward to the next.
I encourage you to get started on this series and add these characters to your life.

more of the same

I really like these books. There is good action and character development but it’s not just one fight after another. There are nuanced conflicts the characters experience other than just tough enemies.

Natural laws apocalypse book 7

Well Marc keeps stepping in it with both feet. He's gotten Beggar advanced, Matilda, Felicia, Rob , Ella.
Zeus and Olympus are up and running and Marc just got his kingdom.
Can't wait for book 8.

Not just a fun read

This series has done a great job of making me each character unique and definitely not cookie cutter. Even the none human characters are always true to who they are. I highly recommend this series to anyone who like LitPrg books.

Just could not put this book down.

I love that the author could have gone into more details on the dungeon dives, but instead of filler material, he gave us more adventures.

Only spoiler I will give is that Baset has been returned to Egypt.

Not What I signed Up For

The last comment from Marc was too good to not share 🤣 Circes, Medusa's, and dwarves oh my. This series gets better everytime I read it. I live all the characters and eagerly await their next adventure.

Larcombe does it again.

I like the way that larcombe uses the system to build things, rather
then constantly battling monsters. I also like the way he developed his team.
