Draws on various branches of knowledge to indicate the imminence of a new era characterized by our recognition of the correspondences among the universe, the natural world, and man.
Whilst this book isn't full of scientific rigour - in fact it's trying to undermine a science centric view of the world - I did enjoy it's points of view, and the scope of esoteric ideas that it brought together. The collision of ideas seems almost fit for a holywood blockbuster or the Indian Jones or National Treasure kind, and it's presented in a matter of fact tone that dates the book incredibly, and would limit an accepting audience, but it was a useful read in finding patterns within some of the modern different esoteric belief systems - however it never dipped into anything with any depth or real knowledge which was at some point disappointing.
A search for 100th monkey led to this book which I started reading casually and got immensely absorbed as an un-put-downable book. The range and dept of the book are beyond my sphere of my knowledge and naturally I need to revisit it frequently and connect with the in comprehensible portions.
This book really kicked off my passion for studying the mind and human behavior! I remember reading this book during my lunch breaks while working at Value Village! The one stand out section of this book talks about the 100th monkey phenomena .
