You will notice that I do not read much non-fiction. I'm a fiction girl. Always have been. However, I have also become a digital girl and I'm trying to teach myself Flickr, Adobe Elements, blogging html, etc. So, I figured this book would be really useful. In fact, it wasn't. I had already figured out for myself most of what this book walked me through. Plus, several things he referred to were already out of date. I think it would be helpful for someone who is not that comfortable with computers, but most of us figured this stuff out within an hour of using Flickr. There were a few very cool toys and tips I learned about from this book, which made it worth reading. Check this site out:

Flickr is a very good networking medium. Other networking sites gets neglected because of over emphasis on reading material. But nowadays people have no time to read. Photographs are ideal because they say more in less time. That is why Flickr has become so successful. Different interest groups have come to Flickr to share their ideas through photographs. For example, there is an enviornmental group called The Green Earth Magazine with more than 14,000 photographs.
