I have been captured by the shadow fae, and it's my fault.
They had us surrounded, trapped, and I did the only thing I could think of to save Zayden, Ajax and Rykon. In that moment, the only thing that mattered was keeping them safe.
That's how I ended up here, being carted off to Elvespith, the major city of the Fae kingdom, to have an audience with the king, but little do I know he already had plans for me.
He tried to convince me to enter something called the Champion Trials. A set of deadly feats in which the magic of the land tests your mind, heart and soul.
I didn't know why he wanted me to enter, so I told him no. Then he bought out those three men I thought I kept safe, in chains. Now the deal was I would get back one man for every trial I won.
It doesn't matter why the king wants me to enter or that I was at a serious disadvantage going up against people who've had years of magical training. I will win against them all, because no one was going to take those men from me.

Like the first couple of books, this had as much that worked as it did that didn’t.
Each book fixes on past issues, but creates new ones, or devolves on points it was previously successful with.
I keep postponing writing my reviews because they seem so complicated in my head.
By the time I get back to it, I can no longer remember the finer details that so concerned me…
Does this mean they weren’t that big an issue, or that it just isn’t good enough to stick?
Here’s what I do know.
I want to read the next in this series, and more in general by this author.
But, I won’t rush out to buy a hard copy, and it could be sometime before, or if, I re-read.
Last of all, any who share my taste in Urban Fantasy, RH, slightly darkish, silly, sarcastic humour, I can easily recommend this.
If I ever do re-read, will try to write a better review. 😬

This is such a great series! We are back again with Emerald and her men for yet another thrilling adventure, and things are crazier than ever. It starts where book 2 left off, and Emerald finds herself in the land of the Fae. There is so much goodness packed in these pages, it was so hard to put down! Kira has a way with words where you just get sucked into their world immediately and don’t want to leave. Emerald has so much to deal with already from what she’s learned about herself, but this book adds a whole new element to the story that honestly I probably should’ve seen coming, but I was so lost in reading it that it shocked me. Poor Emerald. Just when her world has dropped out from under her, she has to face a whole new set of trials. I love her character growth, it’s one of my favorite things about this book—Jax’s too. The guys finally begin to break down her walls, and she comes to depend on them more than she knows, but it’s such a sweet thing to see. Ajax also changed throughout this book and while he’s still the @$$ she knows and loves; he begins to see their relationship differently. Zayden and Rykon really step up being for Em in this book when she needs it most and swoon!! I’m trying really hard not to spoil anything so I’ll leave it there but if you’ve started this series this is a must-read! And if you haven’t started it you are missing out! Oh, and if you’re wondering if they find out who she really is? Let’s just say there is progress there. I can’t wait for the next and final book! I need to know how this series is going to end! If you like rh/why choose, fantasy, adventure, action, and all the other good things like yummy steam, this is the book for you!

OMG!! Yes! Kira was not playing with this one. She pulled out all of the stops! I am already obsessed with this story and characters, but this book right here just shot it sky high. Mika’s story was wild and unpredictable but was an enjoyable ride. There were so many twists and turns.. there was emotion that seeped down into your bones. There was a lot of action and s3xy time.
Emerald/Mika has so much to deal with already from what she learned about her and this book adds a whole new element to the story. Poor Emerald. Just when her world drops out from underneath her, she has to face a whole new set of trails on top of it. I honestly love the character growth, it has to be one of my favorite things about this book.
The guys are finally able to begin breaking down her walls and she depends on them more than before. It was really sweet to see. Ajax also changed throughout this book and even though he is still the jerk she knows and loves. He begins to view their relationship differently. Whereas Zayden and Rykon really step it up for Emerald in this book, especially when she needs it the most. I might have swooned at that part.
This series is a must read series! Soooo good!! I can not wait for the next and final book. If you love Reverse Harems/why choose, fantasy, action, adventure and of course the best thing of all, delicious steam. This is definitely the series for you! You will not be disappointed.

This is one of those series that keeps getting better and better as it goes on, and I’m really loving it so far! This book was my favourite one in the series yet!
This book picks up right where book 2 ended, and I was seriously hooked from the very start! We learn so much more about the Fae people and about all of the powers each of the characters discovered they possess in the previous book. I especially loved the Fae trials and all of the challenges Mika faced. She proved once again just what kind of kick-@$$ boss babe she is!
I’m also really loving the relationship growth between Mika and her guys! The spicy scenes in this book were 🔥🥵🔥!! As a whole, the group still have a couple of things they need to work through, especially since Mika’s biggest secret has just been revealed, but there’s no doubt in my mind these guys will come together and work through it all to come out on top!
I’m dying to know what’s going to happen with Narik though!! 👀😏

I loved this book. This is my second favorite series by the author. My favorite series by the author is My Alpha Team. The first book is called Crazy people. We are back with Emerald and her men. They are trying to make it back to Onisea. They still have their mission to help Vance. They run into trouble. There are shadow Fae attacking them. They defeat the shadow Fae. The leader Narik said he will be back. That Emerald is his and he will have her. They have to pick up the pace before the shadow fae come back. When they do come back Emerald is forced to go with Narik. Ajax, Rykon and Zayden escape the trap they were in. Now they are tracking Emerald to get her back. They end up in Fae Land. Emerald is to participate in a champions trail. So this story follows Emerald on her path to win the champion trail. It also reveals more about who she is. She also gets closer to her men. Read all about the Fae and what their champions trail entails. Will Emerald come out the winner? Read the book to find out.

Yes, yes, HECK YES! Kira Stanley pulled out all the stops with this one! I’m already obsessed with this story and characters, but this book ramped that up tenfold. Mika’s story is a wild and unpredictable ride, but man oh man is it phenomenal! So many twists and turns, so much emotion that you could feel down to your bones, and tons of action and schmexy times. This book had it all! New revelations come to light that will have you yelling out ‘what did I just read!’ in the best way possible of course. Mika and her mens bonds continue to develop and grow. And…their journey is just getting started! I cannot wait to see what the next book brings!

This book starts where book 2 left on. Emerald/Mika leaves with the Fae to save her men.
Full of adventure, action, and humor. Lots of angst and steam!!
We learn a lot in this book. Along with a few twists and revelations that definitely kept me on the edge of my seat.
I thought there was also more character growth in this book as well as the relationships between the guys grow.
I loved seeing the banter between them.
I also loved seeing the vulnerabilities in Emerald, but I think they were her strength as well.
What a fantastic addition to the series!!! Can't wait for book 4!!!

May 14, 2025I started this series in January 2024 and I stopped reading this book around 20% in the same month once I realized the last book in the series didn’t come out in Fall 2023 like it was supposed to and there was no updated release date. I joined the Facebook group and I asked if there was a new release date yet and the author replied and said she would be releasing it that year (2024). Well it’s May 2025 now and there has been no update at all for this series. I really liked this series so I’m extremely disappointed that its been abandoned by the author. I won’t be finishing this book because what’s the point.

This series gets better with each book! I was completely enthralled with this book, and at the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading. I love the banter of the characters and how their Mika and her guy’s relationships are growing and evolving. There are definitely some twists in this book and the addition and complications of Narik was awesome.
If you’re looking for unpredictable action packed, adventure, that is original and witty with some steam this is your book. I can’t wait to see what book 4 brings.

This is the third book in Mika's story and it starts us where the last book left off. In this book we see Emerald give herself up to the fae to protect her men. She is made to fight in the fae games to earn back each of her men. This book has so much action and adventure it kept me glued to the pages. There are revelations and new theories I can't wait to find out what happens in the next book. May the land show favor to them all!

I love these characters so much! This is really the best kind of RH story..
It has everything. Great world building, action, and adventure. And romance that makes sense. This story does the male characters justice. In that we really get to know them. We get why they are together, and why they are willing to fight for this relationship...
It's going to be a long wait for book 4. Please write quickly Kira!

Part three of the story follows Mika into Fairie and some trials she has to face to be free again.
While I love this series, I didn't like the book as much as part one and two, only because there was a lot going on and that made it a bit confusing at times.
Still, I was very invested in the story, it's fast-paced and does have some steamy scenes.
I'm very much looking forward to the next book!

This is book 3 of the series & boy does it not disappoint! We meet new characters. We learn more of the Fae Kingdom… We learn some secrets and some truths. I don’t want to give to much away!!! But definitely worth the read.

Such a fantastic series!!!! Emerald/Mika is such a tough as nails heroine and I love her confidence!!! The guys are so dedicated to her and I love it!!!! The world building is so good and I have really enjoyed watching these characters grow and come together! (Literally)😂😂😂😂 I can’t wait to see how it all turns out!!!

I love this series so much. The world and characters are so good I want more. I can't wait until the next comes out. I will read anything kira writes because her books never fail me. It just makes it better that this series has two of my favorite things assassin's and why choose romance. I love how mika can goe toe toe or beat the boys to.

Crying Like A Baby!
I've read all these books back to back and now I have to wait! Crying over here like a big baby, lol. I can't wait to see what's in store for these characters. The big secret has finally been revealed, but hold on to your seats, because it was done at the end of the book, and now we have to wait for the next adventure to find out how the boys handle it😉

This one was looong
But it was good to see the Fae and for everyone to learn more about themselves and each other. Unlike books 1 and 2 this one didn’t hold my interest as well and has taken me a few days to get through but it was worth it. I’m going to take a break before reading the next book.

Loved this book! It was filled with action and the twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat. I love Emerald and how she will do anything for her men. This was a great story and I can’t wait to see what happens next!

This series gets better with each book. There is drama,tension,mystery and a whole lot of heat as Em and her guys are immersed in the world of Fae and their traditions. Secrets and new discoveries had me reading long into the night. I can't wait for the next book!!!!

I read this series from beginning and I couldn’t get enough of it! I am so glad I was able to read all these books! Kira’s writing has always stuck with me and I love it.
The action plus the steam I enjoyed throughly and couldn’t get enough! It was such a good book! I couldn’t put it down!

Book 3 in the series…..Emerald is still a powerhouse and her bonds continue to grow. They are on their way back to Onisea and they encounter trouble. We meet a new character…Narik……I think Emerald handled him well. This was such a great ending

This series y’all. I adore it. There are more huge reveals in this book, and an introduction to some very interesting characters. Nothing can be easy for Mika though, of course not. I can’t wait to see how the final book plays out.

We see Mika in the fae world and she learns even more truths about herself all while fighting to get her men back. We have a pesky shadow fae that won't take no for an answer and will make you want to strangle him. This book will leave you hanging again and screaming why.

This series is full of action and smexy times😉. Emerald continues to be a force of nature and the bonds between her and the men are continuing to strengthen. On their way back to Onisea the group encounters trouble….and we meet Narik. Without spoiling anything I will just say that Emerald shows her strength while dealing with him! While I am excited for the next book I am also sad to see the series conclude. Another great world built by this author!
