This is an excellent illustrated history of Martin Guitars from 1833-2007, written by Martin experts. It covers all the guitar eras, as well as the generations of Martins, including short bios of each Martin at the end of the relevant chapter. Plenty of great full color photos and illustrations complement the text. No dust cover—the graphics are part of the hardcover—and the pages are thick and glossy. This is a high-quality book. This is guitar porn at its finest. Now if only I can get my hands on book 2...
