From the author of Intimacy and Solitude, this literary novel explores the search for freedom, satisfaction, and meaning in life, as two women who have lost love enter new phases in their lives.
Very long book - not by pages though. There is a lot of meditative contemplation in this book about a lady who suffers the loss of her husband and the first year thereafter.
Mostly this is a book of reflections, probably quite good by not the most interesting read. Far too much descriptions of dreams and past experiences that go nowhere for me.
Having said that, it is not terrible and quite tranquil, but many others have done this better.
