This book contains more theory about reading than it does on how to read and recall faster. The author himself states in the book that he can read up to 600 wpm, which is a little above average for a speed reader. As I normally read novel at about 600 - 700 wpm, this book didn't tell me anything I didn't already know, except for a couple of new reading theories. Instead, I would recommend Tony Buzan's speed reading book as a much better investment.
