L'introduction à la théologie féministe asiatique, de Kwok Pui-Lan est bien ce que le titre indique, et il remplit très bien son rôle en peu de pages (à peine plus de 100)

Elle écrit dans un style accessible et pédagogue, sans lourdeur particulière. On ne peut que comprendre ce qu'elle fait et elle a investi beaucoup d'elle-même dans cette théologie asiatique, elle mentionne pas mal d'autres auteurs et surtout d'autres approches. Le plan est bien construit et tout semble à peu près couvert (sauf l'eschatologie peut-être)

Ce livre est l'illustration parfaite de ce qu'est au fond la théologie féministe: il ne s'agit pas de connaître Dieu à travers le regard des femmes, mais de connaître les femmes avec les "morceaux" de Dieu. La théologienne est le Créateur, et Dieu la créature.

In this (awfully) short work, Kwok Pui-lan, one of the most prominent Asian feminist theologians of our time, surveys various Asian feminist theologies. Asia is probably the most ethnically, culturally, and religiously diverse continent. To introduce the various strands in less than 130 pages forces the author to place limitations on sources and depth. Nonetheless, Kwok has done a superb job, despite the egregious limitations. Therefore, Introducing Asian Feminist Theology should be seen as a launchpad to delve deeper other Asian feminists and their works. Personally, I have found her chapter on Christology the most fascinating.
