I wish that I had had more knowledge of African history when I started this collection. Truly, I think the arguments are well structured and thought-provoking; however, I feel that the arguments made were lost on me due to my lack of knowledge on the subject. Around half-way through this collection I started to read more about African history and found the content much more relatable. I will need to re-read it when I feel better versed in the topic.
