What a powerful book! The author's firsthand account of conditions in the Warsaw Ghetto brought me to tears, and I was intrigued by his insight into Soviet rule in Poland after WW2. I highly recommend this book for anyone who wishes to understand more about Poland or the war.

Amazing story. I read this years ago and still remember vividly. What a triumph over adversity.
