Mount Up book two in the Memory Grove series introduces us to Natalie, an ER Dr and Luke, a rodeo cowboy. Two people from totally different worlds that find they have more in common than they thought.
Natalie accepted a residency in Arkansas and ended up staying. She is a country girl at heart and loves being close to her grandmother. She has closed herself off and is basically a loner. She still hasn’t come to grips with events of her past but everything changes when she meets Luke.

Luke is a local star and everybody knows and loves him. He has been a pro rodeo star for many years but he is starting to tire of the circuit. He has a house, boat and truck but is it enough.

Natalie is cool and aloof when she treats Luke in the ER, even though all of the nurses are fighting over helping. Luke is immediately interested in her but can’t understand why she doesn’t succumb to his charms. Another accident pushes the two of them together and helps jump start their relationship.
The two of them have an immediate attraction but Natalie isn’t ready to give in to the desire she is feeling. Luke pushes all her buttons but she is scared of getting close to someone like him. She thinks he’s arrogant and not the type of guy she wants to date. Luke is just sure of himself and even though he is a rodeo star, he’s really just a down to earth guy who enjoys being at home with friends and family.

I love the interaction between these two, it took them awhile to get to know each but when they did Wow! The sex between them was very HOT and well worth the wait. I also love the fact that they have to deal with the same issues and emotions that everyone else has to deal with, jealousy, anger, fear and slutty ex’s. It makes is so easy to connect to the couple in the story, you can relate to them.
I loved Mount Up by Melissa Ecker and can’t wait to read the next installment in the Memory Grove series. The series releases on December 1, 2011 with Lazy Day Publishing. You can visit Melissa at www.melissaecker.com for more information about this series.

Mount up is a steamy, tantalizing, erotic and playful romance between Natalie Shea and Luke Reilly. Natalie is a young doctor who moved to Arkansas to complete her residency at Little Rock Memorial Hospital after finishing medical school at UCLA. When Natalie was informed that there was an incoming rodeo injury she couldn’t help herself but think why people would put themselves in such dangerous situations. What she didn’t know was that soon she would meet the man who would totally change her life in more than one way. Luke Reilly is your typical cowboy. He is charming, sexy and knows how to ride.

He has been in the business since he was a young kid. He is a popular guy, loved by his family and friends and desired by all the women in town. When Reilly gets into an accident while at the rodeo he is brought to the ER where Natalie is a doctor. The chemistry between them is instant though Natalie fights to ignore it Luke has no shame in showing his interest in her.

There is much more to Luke than the size of his belt buckle. Luke isn’t the type of man Natalie is usually attracted to, but to her surprise her body reaction to his sex-appeal said otherwise. The story develops easily and fast. The characters are fun, sexy and sexual. Melissa Ecker certainly has a way with words, the sex is steamy, and the conversations feel real. The story is short, however it is well thought and developed.

Now so far this book is my favorite in the series. Luke is to freaking die for. *swoons* I just have this thing for sexy cowboys!

Mount Up is the second book in the Memory Grove series. In this installment we get to meet Natalie who is a ER Doctor and Luke who just happens to be rodeo cowboy. Who would have thought that two different people could fall so hard under each others spell like they did.

Natalie accepted a residency in Arkansas and now she is staying. There are somethings she is still trying to work but after she meets Luke, he captivates not only her body but her mind as well. Luke is a local star in the rodeo crowd and everyone in his town loves him. After Luke gets hurt he is taken to the ER where Natalie works. She keeps cool and calm while treating this cowboy even though all of the nurses are fighting to help her take care of Luke. From the first time Luke lays eyes on her he is interested but can’t figure out why she doesn't fall head over heels for his charm.

Ecker gives you nail biting attraction and hot sex with a cowboy. When they finally get to know each other and there relation progresses the story just gets better and better. I loved the fact she made it a reality scenario so it wasn't far fetched. I loved the way they had to deal with everyday issues such as jealousy, anger, fear and the past.It was so easy to connect to both of them. I wish it never had to end because Luke is just too hot. I loved Mount Up and I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series, Feed the Fire.

Luke is a local legend Rodeo star who ends up in the ER and under the care of Dr. Natalie Shea. Natalie is not eager to be charmed by Luke who seems to be silver tongued. When a twist of fate has Natalie needing Luke's help, she finds there is a lot more to the man then his charming persona.

Luke is all male and definitely pure alpha. I liked this story, gave it a 3.5 it started off with a bit of slow seduction between Luke and Natalie. Luke seemed like he was stalking his prey but the end was very abrupt and would have liked it to be longer.

Luke and Natalie were great. Luke was a little TOO forceful for my liking, but they were consensual, so whatever. I like a little dominance and alpha maleism, this was a little further than I would like personally, although if I were faced with a hot 6'5 bonafide cowboy with a huge cock (can I say cock?), I might just let myself take a ride :P

Mount Up is a fun, quick read with a great hero in Luke Reilly. He's a bull rider, and who doesn't love a cowboy? The Seduction in Memory Grove series is a strong series and I highly recommend them!
