Am I the only one who struggles to learn of practical ways to grow in my relationship to the Father? This book was so helpful in that regard. It isn't a lot of high falutin' theology. It's not wordy. It's not long. Some of the suggestions were things I knew, but didn't, and still don't, remember to do. But it never hurts to be reminded again and again. I've not read Brother Lawrence's "Practicing the Presence of God," but this book could have been given the same title. I highly recommend it if you are trying to bring yourself into God's presence with your own presence of mind every moment of the day. That won't happen, but that's the target.
