Just as good as all the others. Maybe even better. I cried, which is not a new thing, and loved it until the very last word.

I really want the rest of this series. The intro blurb filled me in nicely on #2, but I still want to read it myself. And of course I am eager for the conclusion in 4.

I love the characters and the humorous but serious tone of the book. It is one of those things that is hard to explain and easier understood by experience. Maybe Craske is just a writer with a sense of humor that actually works for me for once. In any case, I really enjoyed the read.

I do wish this volume were better edited. There were many issues with extra, missing, or wrong words and I don't remember those in the first volume.

I also have a nagging worry about something early in the book. Quaint says one thing but had done another. Maybe I would understand better if I had read number 2. Hopefully I will find out some day.

Another satisfying romp with Cornelius Quaint and his circus troupe. Full of action and suspense and ends with a teasing mystery to open the next adventure.

Good read, gripping and plot not obvious which is good. Have read the previous Cornelius Quant chronicles and have been hooked.
