So far I am finding the actual language part to be a bit...meh. The content is interesting and has presented some potentially helpful communication tips and startegies. And I feel like I need them!

I had a hard time getting through this book. I don't think I need to be best friends with my teen to be able to have good conversations with him. Perhaps just a different approach? I did pick up some helpful communication tips here and there, though. I would not buy this book for anyone.

A great read for every parent. There is a lot of info we hear all the time, but it was a great refresher.
