I volunteer at the local library branch one night a week and love pulling books on hold, etc from the children's section because I find charming new children's books and rediscover ones from my childhood. This is one of the rediscoveries--a picture book about an adorable cat learning about adorable dogs. What more could 6-year-old me (or me in general always) have wanted?

Much more educational than I expected! This book has brief (1-2 line) rundowns on not only breeds, but general types of dog, such as "setter," "terrier," "mountain dog," or "hound," pointing out the shared characteristics of each set! The art is soft-colored and cute, with a sort of warm fuzzy feel to it.
