Karina has decided to go after the one thing she truly wants -- Kent and Justin. She knows they want her as well, but when she shows up unannounced at their weekend getaway, she gets a cold shoulder and even colder heart.
The men have a secret capable of killing, and they aren’t willing to risk the woman they love by exposing her to it. When she discovers it anyway, she realizes it’s up to her to prove to them that together they can conquer even the worst of curses.

Talya is an avid fan of all forms of the printed word. She has been reading for as long as she can remember, and has dreamed of being an author for almost as long. On any given day, when she’s not working, you can find her at the computer or curled up somewhere in her house reading whatever has caught her fancy that week. She has been known to push the limits of her deadlines, or go to work on little to no sleep, only so she can finish a book she is reading.
Her reading habit was the bane of her family’s existence while growing up, but she has found a wonderful man who shares her evil inclination. They live quietly, reading books, playing on computers, practicing martial arts and enjoying one another’s company.
Tayla feels all the reading has helped her to become a better author. She has devoted her professional life to writing fun, erotic stories that make you believe in second chances and happily–ever–afters.
From author's site:
In my writing I can do whatever I want, with whomever I want. I can make the bad people suffer and the good people win. I can create a world where extraordinary things can happen to ordinary people. Where the girl next door can get the second chance she’s always wanted, and where the guy across the street can get that happily-ever-after he deserves.
As a race, we need to believe in those things. In happily-ever-afters, in second chances, in something more than we are as individuals. Life is about living and experiencing and dreaming and believing.
What do you get when you mix a woman on a mission to claim the two men she really wants, and two men who are determined she never finds out their secret? You get one awesome, erotic, hard-to-put-down book!
Karina has loved her neighbors, Justin and Kent, since she moved into their apartment building. She knows they want her, but she can't figure out why they won't admit it. After all, they spend more time with her than away from her. Also, Justin and Kent have a habit of disappearing every couple of months for several days. She decides to follow them and shows up unannounced at their secluded house deep in the woods.
Justin and Kent are extremely angry at being found. They have a secret and they aren't willing to risk this woman they love by letting her discover exactly what that secret is. However, when Karina learns just exactly what they are trying to hide, she became determined to prove to them that the three of them can be together and they can beat this curse.
THE HEALING CURSE is extremely well-written. It had the perfect balance of humor and suspense. Karina is squeamish at the sight of her own blood. At one point, one of the men scares her and she cuts her palm. Her reaction and getting weak-kneed was comical. Then the part where the men are telling Karina exactly why they can't be together was so touching I was near tears, and I wanted the men to give Karina a chance. I wanted to yell at them to make them stop and to listen to her.
The descriptions of the cabin and the scenery in the woods make you feel like you are actually there. There are sex scenes of Karina and each man separately and then there are scenes with the three of them together. They were so steamy and so well-written. And oh my goodness, the shower scene. I thought I could see smoke coming from my Kindle, it was so hot!
I loved this book and had trouble putting it down. It isn't a long novel, but it didn't need to be. Everything was said in this book that needed to be said. It didn't seem anything was left out. It was absolutely wonderful from start to finish.
This is the first book by Talya Bosco that I have ever read. But I'm already looking at her other titles.
