A few duff stories in here, the wasp one was a bit lame and the Christmas day one fell a bit flat too. His other stories are better- 'beside the sea' is Much better.

I loved the Jeremy James stories as a kid and my nieces were playing a libraries on their last visit and left some of their books in one of my bookshelves; had to be done really.
If you are looking for some good bedtime stories to read to your children - or even get them to read to you - these are nice little stories just for such an occasion.
