The illustrations in this book are so cute! It’s an oversized picture book featuring photos of the Muppet Babies dresses up as classic children’s book characters. On the facing page is either a concise retelling of the whole story, or a part of the story. A bbrief introduction explains this is to give young children a taste of the stories, thoug( I think it’s more just an excuse to dress up baby Muppets in cute costumes, which is fine by me. There’s a detailed and charming illustrated border to compliment the photo around the story. The stories include classic children’s novels like Heidi, Peter Pan, Treadure Island, Alice in Wonderland, The Jungle Book, Robin Hood and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
