I probably liked this more than I should have; I think it just hit my reader buttons. Charming art, and for some reason I really noticed the coloring on this one - it felt very controlled, fresh, and vibrant without being all neon-y. The plot was solid but nothing to write home about, the characters decent but not masterful, all that. A fun read; I got the feeling that this was meant to be a radio drama rather than Shakespeare :)

Rushed and a bit incomprehensible, which is too bad. The story started out with a Houdini-like character, but with real magic involved. That blend seemed good, but the jumps back and forth in time, and from dimension to dimension, were often too confusing. By the end I was turning pages just to see if the payoff was worth the wait, and felt that the answer was a resounding "maybe".
