OMG! I have been trying to remember the name of this book for over a year now, and I CANNOT believe that I finally found it!!! Gah!
I LOVED this book as a child! I remember taking it to school (fifth or sixth grade, probably) and showing it off - reading all my friends' palms and telling them all about the meaning behind their astrological signs. They were totally impressed that I knew so much!
This is such a cute and informative book for children, and it gives them something to do that is actually worthwhile (unlike sitting in front of the TV or computer all day) and educational.
I am so glad that I found it (in a less-than-one-minute Google search, believe it or not)!! I just wish I had kept the book...who knows how long ago I got rid of it.
5 Ways To Know About You (147 pages) Karen Gravelle
This was a very fun and enjoyable book to read! It was very interesting to learn about others and myself and was sometimes surprisingly accurate! ”5 Ways to Know About You” includes Chinese horoscopes, numerology, palm reading, astrology, and handwriting analysis. Written in a light and friendly style, I was glued to the book, fascinated by all the different ways that you could come more to understand your own personality. The five different sections were very thorough and even provided charts that you could use to fill in with your findings about yourself. Though perhaps a book more targeted for readers in 5th-8th grade, I think it can be engaging for all ages!
This looks like a little kid book and is found in the young adult section but it is really good if you do not know any of these. I knew a little but did learn some and it fired my drive to find out more on each of the subjects. I would definately recommend it.
