Olivia and Patrick are falling for each other. Patrick is still dealing with his sister, Paige, and her getting over the loss of her married boyfriend, Joe. Olivia did some paintings for the arts festival. She saw a painting that really shocked her. Who owned it? What secrets is Patrick hiding from her? Olivia and her children are now at the beachside home which she won in an auction. They are busy moving inn and upgrading the inside. Strange incidents are happening.
Patrick's sister is grating on Patrick's nerves. She insists on staying with Patrick but will not clean up after herself and leaves his home in a mess. He was laid down the law and sent her back to her apartment. She is upset over the death of her boyfriend who was a married man with a family.
Olivia is starting to paint again. Something she started as a child and had dreams of having her own gallery. She is taking part in the craft fair and has brought several of her paintings.
Patrick's sister is starting to get rid of mementos given to her by her boyfriend - one being a painting.
The Beachside Home continues and Olivia and her kids getting to know the coastal town of Pebble Beach and learn their house has lots of secrets that were not given when they listed the house for sale on line. Olivia has found out from a neighbor that the house rumored to be haunted, so that explains the noises she has been hearing. This is a heartwarming & interesting series as Olivia & the kids starts over after the death of her husband & their father. The realtor kept a lot of information from her because he did not know how to tell her. That may turn out to be a mistake. I think you will enjoy this series if you like mystery with your romance.

This was a quick one sitting read that ends with a bombshell. The characters are developing as is the story line. The town gossips, tough love, Olivia's reflections on the reality of her marriage, the start of a romance and a haunted home are all part of this fast paced story. I can't wait to read the next installment of this story. I received an ARC of the book and I am leaving my review without influence from the author.
The Beachside Home continues with book two and Olivia and her kids getting to know the coastal town of Pebble Beach and learn their house has secrets and is rumored to be haunted. This is a heartwarming series as Olivia starts over and is a must-read for anyone who enjoys feel-good series reads. Didn’t need to be a book on its own. But I enjoyed it. Olivia continue to hear things, only her. Her and Patrick have a date. Patrick has issues with his sister, still can’t deal with lose of her boyfriend. Olivia sales some paintings at the art fest and finds a painting she did for her husband that Patrick’s sister Paige was saling.
Great story. Things are starting to heat up between Olivia and Patrick. Olivia realizes her marriage to her late husband wasn't as perfect as she thought. I received an ARC and this is my voluntary review.
This book is getting better and better and the haunting in the house is getting more exciting. The romance is also getting better. Look forward to the next book.
Another outstanding book like the first one in this series.It has everything, romance,suspense,motherly love and a beautiful setting Extremely well written and enjoyable
Once again the author leaves you hanging ! What if you don't hand the next book. She should have just written one book instead of all these small ones.
