If you want to understand what Project Based Learning is this is the book. How to create and carry out a project. No matter what your position is this the seminal book to read.

This book has a great annotated bibliography at the end. Unfortunately, I didn't find much else in it that was new information. It reads very much like a teacher in training guide to PBL. I would recommend it to preservice teachers interested in an overview. For established classroom teachers there are better guides to PBL available.
