Really helpful in establishing a better understanding of my own community. Also introduced perspectives that challenge everyday popular structures and assumptions regarding love, especially with in the African American community. Essential to the deconstruction of the illusions painted as solutions and hopeful in finding new ways to function within a loving framework of realism.
