This is a great book for someone looking to understand the basics about feng shui or wanting a refresher. The ideas and suggestions are easy to implement, and the authors give you encouraging ways to start looking at your home and surroundings much differently.

This maybe one of the most important introductions in Feng shui for me. It had a few basic points, but was focused on the practical side of it all without getting religious about it.
It is definitely one of my favorites

We can add this book to the "Books That Have Changed My Life" list. I've read a few feng shui books, and this is by far the most practical and "implementable." I used it to help me as I decorated my apartment, at first as a decorating guide, since there is information upon the psychological effects of color. But once I got into it, it became more like a guide for my life. The book does an excellent job of explaining feng shui concepts: it explains eastern concepts in a way that a westerner can understand, and it modernizes the concepts so that they can be applied today. Best of all, it's not about time-consuming or expensive changes. Many of the changes can be implemented immediately. The one thing that I would have wanted to know was how intense the process can be. That may be a personal matter, though. Regardless, I am happy with the way my apartment has turned out, but more importantly, I am happy with the way I see and live my life differently because of this book.

The author of this book knows nothing of creating harmony. she is a disjointed, unfocused person who is a master of creating chaos out of thin air, it's unfortunate she has been afforded at title within the Feng Shui community.

Zero integrity, snake oil salesperson if ever there was one.
