Should I do this or should I do that? Do I go here or do I go there? From pancakes to hats to flying a kite, Fuddle, The Monster of Confusion, can't decide what's just right!Through the use of humorous rhymes and illustrations, creator Andi Green, takes readers through the world of a monster who can't make up her mind. The fourth storybook book from the award winning series The WorryWoo Monsters. The Monster Who Couldn't Decide is beautiful story that readers of all ages will enjoy.
My cousin got this book one Easter when we were kids, I got “The Nose That Didn’t Fit”, which I WISH I could find, because now I feel like reading it. I remember really liking that story.
I love the art style of these books—it’s a loose, bright style that is just SO unique and pretty in its own special way.
While there are comments about “believing in yourself”, the messages in these books are more about being content.
I relate to Fuddle so much—as someone with a few different hobbies, I have a rather hard time deciding what I want to work on. But once you think you’ve made the decision, don’t guilt trip yourself into thinking it’s the wrong one (if it’s a big decision that you can’t turn from, of course seek wisdom and don’t treat it as a minimal thing). With the little decisions—Have fun with it. There’s always next time to try some try something new.
This little monster has a hard time making decisions, and this book shares what it is like to live with indecision. What I like most about this book is Fuddle (the monster) reaches out for help, she shares her problems with someone who has been in her shoes before, and accepts the advice given to her moving forward. I also like that near the end Andi talks about how Fuddle might need reminders and support again in the future, and that's okay too.
