With so many self-help books on the market, it was only a matter of time before someone came up with a self-destruction book! ...And boy did they succeed in their first attempt. This was a quick and easy read with a ton of laughs throughout.
My only suggestion would have been to switch the chapter on weight loss to extreme gluttony/overeating. People actually do push themselves to extremes to lose weight in an attempt to better themselves, whereas no one is binge eating as a way to feel better about themselves or improve their bodies. I think they could have done a lot more with that chapter. That's my only critique.

Some chapters were quite amusing, some drawings really funny. A solid, if not spectacular book of humor/parody.

Libraries and bookstores are crammed to the gills with self-help books that aspire to make the reader a better person (or at least buy the author a summer home on the coast). But what about all of the manuals advising on how to be a worse person? Where are those books?
Question no more. This book outlines ways to ruin your life in an easy, step-by-step format. Whether you wish to work yourself toward an alcohol or drug problem, nurture an eating disorder, or make terrible relationship mistakes, this book will help you ensure your misery for years to come. Buy one for yourself and one for a friend.

This book is a stitch! It's So Wrong in parts -- really, it's ALL wrong, but even a hardened old harpy like me was reduced to a breathy "oh my!" at the more shocking (pedophilia/incest/bulimia/etc) jokes. But don't let that scare you. If you can stand the irreverence, this is a real laugh-out-loud read that pokes fun at all of us. Hilarious.

this one is the hoots!
it is nasty humour. very nasty humour. if you're stuck up about any of the issues in here you will not like it. but if you're sick of therapists and self-help books and other well-meaning do-gooders.. ..and have a morbid sense of humour.. ..then you'll love this little gem

This book is one of the funniest books I've read. I challenge anyone to just read the table of contents without laughing. If you enjoy dark humor, and need something to remind you to not take life so seriously, this is a must-read.

A small book of humor for your entertainment. This one riffs on the ever-present stack of self-help books that people read over and over again. Read this one instead!
