Ovid came to a word that had already produced massive works like the Theology, The Illiad, Tha Odyssey and worst: the Eneid (written by another Roman fellow poet that lived at the same time). So what could he write that would stand out against giants from the past (Homer and Hesiod) and from the present (Virgil)?

Thus is born an ambitious project: a poem that tells EVERYTHING from the very beginning of time till Ovid's present day. And every myth connected with all the other by metamorphosis. The beginning of the universe, the father os werewolves, the birth of the girl who would the fall of Troy, a flood that would make Noah really cry...

This is an awesome epic that every kid should have read since childhood.

La obra de Tola habla de sus conocimientos y de su interés inagotable sobre la literatura clásica. Es asombroso el trabajo que realizó. Mis reverencias.
