Night Light (Blood Bound Series) This is the second book I have read by the author Amy Blankenship and once again I have to say that I am loving this series. This book starts up right where Moon Dance leaves off and you really should start there because there are many characters and you don't want to miss anything going on. In each book I find that there is much more to learn about the clan families of the Jaguars and Cougars, vampires and the many other different shifters that are coming into play. They all have stories and love interests/mates that are intertwined with each other.

The paranormal world that they all live in brings them together in surprising ways and this author is so creative that I can not wait for the next book to see what else will happen. Clearly there is a war coming and it is just beginning. There is a great Mausoleum chapter that is scary and awesome and the crucifix in the church scene are just a few of many great twists in this book.

Quinn and Kat come together after 10 long years apart and we find out what took him so long after leaving the mating mark on her. She was abandoned which is unheard of but the surprising reason why is kind of Kat's fault. Humorously done.

There are many characters to love/hate and there really are too many to pick from. There are the fallen, the were-families and vampires. New characters are also introduced and I'm sure we will learn more about them in the next great book.

This series is definitely addicting with the hot guys and women that can pretty much handle themselves. Often times the humor made me laugh out loud and the descriptions are just perfect.

I was gifted this book for an honest review and I highly recommend this entire series to all paranormal, vampire, shape-shifting book lovers. 5 stars

I have submitted this review after listening to the audiobooks of this title. (Goodfm)

A woman promised to a mafia Lord, is rescued when vampires attack the church she had gone to, to seek assistance from the priest.
It's a band of were cats, together with an Angel and another couple of weres thrown in.
Between vampires, were animals and brotherly rivalry, there's always something dramatic happening.

Full of Werewolves, Vampires, Angels and Shifters as well as a Female Demon that haunts the town, the plot is super interesting, the characters all awesome and it is definitely a must read!

The book is also translated and available in multiple languages, one of them is Greek (translated by me).

WOW, Amy has done it again, but even better this time! I thought Moon Dance (Book 1 in this series) was good, but this one, is great! While book 1 has to introduce you to characters, set the history and plot lines, this one gets right down to business and action. If you like action, then this book is for you, esp near the ending. There are many story lines still going on in this book, and as there are many characters, although sometimes I had to think back to place who they were. It definitely is one of those books that you do not want to put down.

This book has all the same shape shifters, and a few new names emerge, but you get to know the characters much better in this book. Kat and Quinn play bigger roles this time round, and as its name suggests, the Night Light club plays a bigger part in this one also. I would think book 3 will place emphasis on two more of the leading characters and again many scenes involving the shape-shifters.

Amy is setting this series to be a long one, and with this storyline as good as it is, she can do that. This series could easily be made into a movie, it has all the power, action and interest to rival any of the shape-shifter movies currently out there.

If your into shapeshifters, vampires, werewolves, fallens and things that go bump in the night, then try this series, you will not be disappointed!

All the characters are so in-depth that they are so incredibly life like and endearing that they are like friends and you just want to know more about them. With all the characters and their different lives the story grabs you in yet pulls you in different directions as all the stories unravel. The men are honorable and sexy while the women are courageous and beautiful. The lives of humans, shape shifters, were-animals, vampires and fallen angels and so action packed. Lots of action! What an excellent story that keeps you guessing. And still guessing… When is the next one? I can’t wait!!! Like WOW!!!

Night Light picks up (more or less) where book one, Moon Dance left off, as is the way the series is to be enjoyed. With so much going on, it'll be easy to get lost, but not if you follow carefully and be sure to keep in mind that many things were either explained in book one or will be explained in future books. From page one you are thrown right back into the story; be sure to fasten your seat belts because this is going to be one bumpy ride!

This novel basically covers Kat and Quinn's story, but in Blankenship's typical writing style, all the books are meant to be one big one, with the various characters showing up again and again, each time letting us find out a bit more about them. The focus of the story is not so much the romance of any one couple, or the romance in general really, but rather the paranormal world they are living in, the creatures they are fighting, and the romance plays the second string, there for a few pages and then gone again until it is needed again.

We find out in Night Light that Kat and Quinn are mates...and have been, technically, for over 10 years, though Quinn has been oblivious to the fact. One night, back when Kat was still 16, she made her first (and particularly strong) batch of Heat, the special liquor blend the shifters enjoy. Quinn came by and they started to drink. After most of the bottle, both of them were a bit tipsy, Quinn more so than Kat, and after he mated with her that night, he woke up the next morning with no memory of it and has stayed as far away from her as possible ever since.

Left with the mating mark and a missing mate, Kat has been holding it in ever since... but when she once again finds that same bottle of Heat n the pantry, she decides it's time to numb the pain. And, of course, who should come over right then but Quinn himself...

Quinn bided his time and got Kat. I really like the way the author invests bits and pieces of other storylines that will become significant in the next books in the series.
