I buy this book every other year or so. It's full of excellent time-wasting cross-references, and it has a sense of humor! Rates movies with BONES, get it, because it's the VideoHOUND! Ha! And the really bad movies, in its judgment? Are rated with a "WOOF"! ROFL!

Still reading, of course. I replaced an older version of the book with this one. Also rescued from the local transfer station, I assume.

Almost everything on the video

I saw this book at a local video rental store and had to get one for myself. No bones about it, this is more than just a list of movies, there are several indexes including awards, cast, director, writer, cinematographer, and composer, among others. Each section cross-references the other sections. Before you say my favorite movie like "John Goldfarb Please Come Home" is not the guide, there is a disclaimer that says first it needs to be on video.
So where is:
Full Moon High (1981) ASIN: 6305812144 Starring: Adam Arkin, Ed McMahon (place number in Amazon search box)
'Allo 'Allo - The Nicked Knockwurst (1986) ASIN: B00004CUU6 (amazon.uk.co)
Blott On the Landscape (1985) ASIN: B00004CM6K Starring: David Suchet (amazon.uk.co)
Dead Man's Folly (1985) ASIN: B00004CINS Starring: Peter Ustinov, Jean Stapleton (amazon.uk.co)
Well, you cannot win them all. But without this guide, you have no chance of winning at all.
