I found this book really interesting. I don't do a lot of microwave cooking and this explained a lot about it that I did not know. If you ever end up in a place that does not have space for an oven or your oven breaks, this is the book you need!

This is a very handy little book that explains all aspects of microwave cooking from the basics of how a microwave works, what containers to use and how to choose your own microwave. The recipes range from simple soups and starters to more complicated main courses including fish and meat dishes. The recipes are well written and easy to follow and will appeal to all levels of cooking ability.

Having recently been loaned a microwave I thought it would be good to learn how to use it and this was in th library. It's good on basics but very dated (this is a revised edition - the original was written in 1979...).
