This one was my textbook for a course on genetics, my biggest issue with it was the disappearance of some subjects between Genes VIII and Genes X, which forced me to get the other version as well which made studying a lot harder since I had to jump from one to the other with fairly different speeches. Other than that what I did found in this edition was quite well explained.

Hands down the best Genetic textbook I've used. Spectacular breadth of information; spans undergraduate through to post graduate concepts.

Simple and easily understood diagrams and concise writing. (I've noticed that some genetics texts have an awful lot of self-contradiction and circular logic. Not so Lewin's)
