Este libro nos cuenta la historia de los zapatos, sus usos y modelos según las décadas, y ejemplifica con marcas o diseñadores.

Es de ágil lectura. Se lee en un par de horas.

La edición que tengo es muy bonita, color borra de vino y tapas duras.

Que chasco me llevé con este libro! 🤣 (si, tengo 200 años porque uso la palabra chasco)
Si bien parece haber sido un muy buen libro en Italia que hizo traducirlo en 19 idiomas y varias ediciones, tiene mucho por ser pulido.

La historia detrás de cada acreción de los modelos mas icónicos que todos seguimos usando hasta hoy, veníamos bien..pero lo que realmente no soporte fue la forma en la que describe a las mujeres e incluso lá visión retrógrada que tiene de las mismas así como su perspectiva del rol masculino en la moda.

Ilustraciones pobres y lo mencionado antes hacen que agradezca haber seleccionado esté libre y poder regresarlo porque no iba haber forma de que se que quedará en mi biblioteca 😅

Not necessarily a 4* book but a personal ode to shoes and for this woman what could be better? "I want those shoes" says it all, the many beautiful pairs I have in my wardrobe but can't wear (for reasons of balance) but spend hours of delight viewing and touching make this book touch all my heartstrings!

אם יש משהו שיכול להתחרות בתחביב הספרים והקריאה שלי הוא תחביב רכישת נעלים. אני לא חושבת שיש אישה שבכלל יכולה לעמוד בפני הפיתוי של נעלים או סנדלים מעוצבות והמחיר כמעט אף פעם לא מהווה מכשול.

בספר הצנום "חייבת את הנעלים האלה!" מטפלת פאולה ג'קובי באובססיה הנשית לנעלים תוך שהיא מתארת את מקורותיו, את ההיסטוריה של סוגי הנעלים השונים המוכרים ואף העקבים! ספר חובה לחובבות הנעלה (המכונה נעלופילית), מלווה באיורים משעשעים וספק ציטוטים.

אחד מסיום הספר רק בשביל הטעם:

"פטרישה קורנוול כותבת בספרה "זבוב כחול", אחד הרומנים שבהם מככבת הבלשית קיי סקרפטה, שכבר מוצאת חן בעינינו בזכות שם המשפחה שלה*:

Debo admitir algo... está bien... es difícil... SOY ADICTA A LOS ZAPATOS. Listo. Lo dije. Esa debe ser la razón principal por la cual compre este libro.

Con una mezcla de humor, un poco de historia personal de Jacobbi y historia mundial, se nos presenta con casi todos los tipos de zapatos que se puedan pensar.

Libro completamente entretenido y educativo que, para los amantes de los zapatos como yo, nos ayudaron a aprender un poco más sobre estos hermosos accesorios.

No sólo el libro muestra la evolución en el diseño, datos curiosos y biografía de diseñadores, sino que está llenos de consejos también. Aceptémoslo, eso es un bonus.

Recomendable para aquellas que aman los zapatos y para aquellos que quieren saber un poco más.

Huoh, miksi nämä kenkäkirjat (ainakin edellinen lukemani ja tämä) on kirjoitettu niin ärsyttävän cisheteronormatiivisesta näkökulmasta? Tässä on kaiken lisäksi vielä froidilainen twisti. Mutta joo, historia- ja triviatietosisältönsä ansiosta kirja ei kuitenkaan ole aivan turha. Toki kuvia saisi olla enemmän!

Muy buen libro. Si te gustan los zapatos, debes leerlo. Lleno de comentarios inteligentes y divertidos, y con un repaso por la historia del zapato y sus tipos que llega a sorprender. Como broche de oro, un gran final. Lo recomiendo a todas (y todos) los amantes de los zapatos.
