About the author

Karl Edward Wagner (12 December 1945 – 13 October 1994) was an American writer, editor and publisher of horror, science fiction, and heroic fantasy, who was born in Knoxville, Tennessee and originally trained as a psychiatrist. His disillusionment with the medical profession can be seen in the stories "The Fourth Seal" and "Into Whose Hands". He described his world view as nihilistic, anarchistic and absurdist, and claimed, not entirely seriously, to be related to "an opera composer named Richard". Wagner also admired the cinema of Sam Peckinpah, stating "I worship the film The Wild Bunch".

Mis favoritos fueron sin ton ni son, los gatos, el hueco y el mono. Lo malo fue que me gustaron tanto que me hubiera encantado que fueran más largos xd los demás me aburrieron un poco, y uno o dos fueron muy enredados.

Una recopilación tiene las mismas ventajas que desventajas; es decir, participación de autores varios y obras relativamente breves. En el presente caso resaltaría las ventajas. Los trabajos presentados no llegan a ser pesados (aunque su calidad es algo inconsistente) y por otro lado se encuentran obras poco promocionadas de autores de renombre. Sin llegar a ser excelente es una recopilación interesante y aceptable.
