A fantastic collection of stories - mixed bag of disturbing, funny, awe-inspiring, intriguing, but ultimately very entertaining.
Nicely curated with chapters by theme, including UFOs, cryptozoology, supernatural powers, and interactions with otherworldly beings. Something about real life stories can make them so much spookier than fiction, maybe the seeming randomness or the bizarre visceral details.
A lot of these stories had a really endearing narrator, loved when the authors clarified that they or the person who told them the story were sober and/or sane, and the little pieces of their lives woven into the story. This included I think a couple of photos or artwork done by the authors/reporters which were included, and the artistic photography that filled the rest of the volume was very entertaining.
Also really cool seeing the progression in some cases, from an initial report by a reader to someone else writing in with a similar story (e.g. the Big Bunny of Banbury, fantastic name).
Well balanced tone of stories I felt, if all the stories had been like the first or last chapters for example (some extremely hair raising stuff) it might have been too much. Some of the lighter or vaguer stories (still strange and awesome) were equally entertaining and gave my adrenaline time to settle down.
Was lucky to find a physical copy too, cool format, basically a book shaped magazine (magazine paper, advertisements like you'd expect in a magazine, but thick spine and roughly A5). Might have to pick up some more from FT or this series...

Some chilling stories, it is a good read, but over priced for an e book. I made te mistake of ordering them all from amazon, rather than read 1 then buy the next one. The paper version is a tiny book, thats even more expensive! other than the price this would be a great book with some great first hand experiences of the paranormal.

The book was pretty good, there was a lot of really good and interesting stories. One thing I did not like about the book was there were some pretty pointless and non interesting stories. All in all the book was good.

Every book in the series has had less and less that interested me, I'm afraid.
