This is a fascinating read for those who love and appreciate the amazing world of dance. It takes us from the humble beginnings of the french courts to the spectacular dance classical or contemporary that we see today. Dance is a great form of and one of the oldest ways of telling a story. In this book we learn of the original scores and choreography by the likes of Nijinsky and of the famous dancers who perfected this in their own performances. I learnt a lot from this and it's a fascinating insight into one of the world's greatest art forms.
